Super low on funds right now (job hunting) so can't pick up one of your courses right now, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your videos here. Once things turn around I'll be happy to show my love for your content in a more obvious way. Thank you, Austin! You're doing a good thing here. 🎨
Hey, I think this video is great and it was really really helpful. But one question, you skipped the part at 48:00 through 48:03. What did you do through the layers of shadow, lighting and value adjustment. What happened there? Is there any info I can get on where? But over all this is a great video and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
From 48:00 To 48:02 you miss out the refined lighting, shadows and the value adjustments... is there anywhere else i could find this info? I think thats a crucial step into making your painting look super smooth. Pls help :D
I love your tutorials they really help me out and I've been looking for a long time for a good tutorial on painting! This helped a lot thank you Austin! Very interested in your courses but when I can afford I'd love to take them! Again thank you for your help your art is so beautiful and it looks like it could jump out and come at me. Thank hope your having a good year!
I noticed he does loose sketching with an unaltered Round Brush and then cleans it up with a brush called "Fat Pencil." He says where he got that brush in the video about making clean lines.
Thank you for sharing this video .. I just picked up an ipad and have procreate.. I'm barely scratching the surface with this app. But its amazing... and your art is awesome man..
Idc how late this comment is this has to be the best tutorial ever !!! I never owned any iPad like non at all and I’m super excited caue I’m gonna be ordering my iPad Pro 2020 12.9 in June so excited so I can rewatch this it excited caue I see how awesome it is for artist and I wanna draw OC’s , fanarts and monsters😭
This one is provided free on Udemy. This is the entire course, is going through the creation of this dragon bust. There is another course called something along the lines of "The Adventure's Guide to Painting Dragons", if you want more for dragon painting.
Why doesn’t his round brush look like mine? When I change my brush size the image is a perfect circle while his is more shaky. Also, when should you use a round brush vs an airbrush! Thanks so much
The round brush has a large opacity jitter to it, and allows you hard edges. General digital painting and blending are it's strengths. Many people draw with the round brush, but I'd prefer to use a digital pencil or pen. An airbrush is best used when wanting to add color without hard edges. Creating gradients, doing color fills without defined patterns. You generally want to avoid airbrushes for any sort of detail work, as it will make your piece lose definition. But it has its uses.
I’m so confused at the base outline colour thingy just before you start adding shadows. On the Shadow layer what do I do so that the when I paint in the shadows it only goes inside the part I outlined???
@@ghostheart1996 You can use a clipping mask, or click "Select" on the shape layer. When you create a new layer, it will only affect the layer you've Selected.

thank you for yet another amazing video, that discount seems like a really good offer too
I am not even using procreate and it works pretty well with other digital drawing platforms
please respond, what brush are you using at the beginning??
I have a kinda annoying question: What brushes did you use for the sketch in the very beginning? It looks so smooth.
That’s what I’m saying
I noticed he does loose sketching with an unaltered Round Brush and then cleans it up with a brush called "Fat Pencil." He says where he got that brush in the video about making clean lines.
@@baileyhyatt6306 I wanna know what brushes did he use for the shading

Fun fact the pocket version doesn’t have a lasso
Is it possible to draw something like this and then export to blender and then unreal engine or unity for a video game
Amazing work!

Nice Process Video, but I wish your music choice was different...
I'm currently doing a beginner sketching course on Udemy. After that I'm going to pick up your course
I've purchased most of your courses, but haven't dug down to most of the lectures. In which course is this included? Thank you!
This one is provided free on Udemy. This is the entire course, is going through the creation of this dragon bust.
There is another course called something along the lines of "The Adventure's Guide to Painting Dragons", if you want more for dragon painting.
Your tutorial helped me so much, thank you! Liked and subbed
this was awesome, great job
Im using Procreate Pocket 🤷🏽♂️

I haven't made mine look exactly like his, but you can adjust the "Spacing" and "Jitter" values in your round brush to make it similar.
The round brush has a large opacity jitter to it, and allows you hard edges. General digital painting and blending are it's strengths. Many people draw with the round brush, but I'd prefer to use a digital pencil or pen.

bro what brush did he use for the sketch?
hi, how can we activate this photoshop user interface? is nice! great tutorial, thanks.
That isn't photoshop. It is actually a program called procreate. I don't know if it is free or not, but it seems easy to learn.
@@animationspace8550 thanks you. i have created my new dragon by learning these tutorials. :) ruclips.net/video/EHEGlnk4NmE/видео.html
Animation Space oh it’s not as easy as it seems, at thought that too until o got it, I’m just practicing
*It’s like...this was made for me.*
Thank u buddy.
Which brush is being used for the beginning? Like for the sketching
anyone else think that in the begging he's ear was the eye and the eye his nose
Between lesson 1 and 2 there are massive changes that u did not show… huge obstacle to get past
Nice work👌
Helpfull
