This always happens with new stuff. You have to just be there INSTANTLY the moment it starts or you get shut out. It really seems like all these events need mobs and bosses with 10X the health they actually hold to give people _at least_ a chance of getting there and landing one shot on them before they're outright annihilated by the overwhelming murderball. They can be retuned on the fly as interest dies down.
My last favorite expansion started with a pre-patch quest with Khadgar in Dalaran. Ngl, the nostalgia hit makes me feel like this is a good sign for me :D
I just hope nothing bad happens to Dalaran. That city has gone through so much. Including being destroyed twice. For a time was abandoned after the 2nd war but the mages came back and rebuilt it anew. Dalaran is a huge icon of World of Warcraft!
do you remember the catch-up armor vendors that were scattered around during the MoP expansion? (not the current remix) It'll probably be those but free.
It's early on, of course, but i hope these locations don't devolve into too many people in too small an area going after too few mobs/clickables. That's not my idea of a good time.
In my experience testing, there are typically three areas within the zone where they spawn, and those are marked on the map. If you find one overly crowded you can try another point. Mind you, they will all likely be crowded, but one or two should be at least reasonable.
LFC - Looking For Complainers. There’s always someone out there . I just can’t imagine how they complain in real life, if they have this level of enthusiasm to complain on a game that hasn’t been release yet. Quite entertaining. 😃

Beta was rely buggy for metoday. A lot of dc‘s, prepatch end boss never showed up, 2 times, quests not being able to end due to not being eligible. But rest was fun, still beginning of the beta, so I’m fine at the moment. Still would like a single mount toggle for the flying, 5 sec ain’t so enjoyable, when you quickly want to change from dynamic to old flying

Wish the mount/pet were kinda just given as a reward for logging in for the event. Never been a fan of trying to grind out all the stuff. To each their own though.
ilvl 480 Veteran Gear is what typically drops from the Dragonflight Season 4 Weekly Last Hurrah reward chests from World content. It currently can be upgraded to ilvl 502. So, if you fully gear up during Season 4, the War Within pre-patch event will not increase your gear ilvl.
i just ran all heroic raids in under 2 hours while waiting a total of 3 minutes to get a group for all 5. It's not dead in the least. 2 minute ques for heroic instances as of right now. 1 minute que for heroic scenario.. Short-short: you're big wrong
480?? i was led to believe that 515 was gonna be the ilvl we can get from the event. oh no, Blizzard! it's prepatch, who the hell cares if Casuals are able to grab stuff when we're about to jump into the next expansion!? well now i'm not even gonna bother except for maybe the Mount and Pets, i can literally get random 480s doing the Superbloom, Seeds and Dreamscape events, at the current ilvl it is literally not worth anyone's time going after the gear. damn shame...
@@SoulSoBreezy the Mount and Pets yeah, but Prepatch IS supposed to ready your alts for the next expansion and i feel this will fail to hit the mark, unlike Dragonflight's Prepatch that made the transition a smooth one.

I think you're grossly overestimating how new expansion content is tuned. Prepatch gear doesn't make you viable for the new continent, it gives a head start. But here're some more facts: Prepatch gear - Veteran (480-502) Delves (rank 2) - 356 Level 71 dungeon - 441 Level 73 - 490 Level 75 - 518 For a long time now, new expansion leveling has been tuned around having just leveled up in the previous expansion as if it was a brand new player clearing Chromie Time. No one's getting screwed. No one's being denied favors or being barred from leveling because they didn't participate in the prepatch.

an easy fix would just be to give all world bosses 99% dmg reduction for the first 30 seconds of combat
Blizz really needs to step up their armor design.. FFXIV got us back in the fucking stone age by comparison
