@Bruh Bruh every orochi I come across literally does like 6 moves over and over again the back dash heavy the back dash light the side doge heavy and lights all the heavies they throw I can easily counter

I got a triple deflect yesterday on an on a dodge attack spammer so yea dosen't count
Just try learing the light deflect with orochi because if u fail u get a dodge light attack, u can switch to heavy deflects after u get a hang of it (but ye thats how I learned to deflect idk if it works for you
Peacekeeper is good for getting better at deflects with a heavy attack since its just her dash attacks once you master that its pretty easy
Deflecting is not that hard but not that easy it’s all about having good reaction time and paying close attention to the animations of the moves they are going to do
I dont know if its just me but the ringing sound that the sword makes from blocking is so satisfying

It’s so dumb. I’ve been playing Orochi for years, but never focused on reps (since i was only good at duels & brawls) and this entire time I never knew a 3 hit combo meant that you could dodge.

You can cancel the recovery of your finisher attacks with a dodge, good for attack chain into zephyr slash...
It says in the move list on the left, attack recovery can be cancelled by a dodge. Just like how nobushi can with hidden stance, bp with bulwark and aramusha with full block

Every warden I have played against does this and always wins their 1v1's like this, I have never seen anyone actually counter a warden spammer. Is there a way to actually counter this? Not even this guy who is a pro could counter it.

A double deflect is the ultimate move, it puts fear into their heart and makes it so they are afraid to use that move again.

What's the name of the move where you jump back and crouch? Whatever it is, do you realize you can change the direction you release it in? It doesn't ALWAYS have to be right.

I agree with the guy complaining about backdodging, not fun at all... sadly you really cant blame the player. Orochi kit is Ubi's fault.
And no wonder is a raider player who is complaining and of course he cant do anything about it... another mediocre kit to the list.

Just started playing the game couple days ago but how do you do that 0:25 ??
U dodge in the director of the attack while holding ur indicator in that direction, u also have to time it right, specifically when the opponents indicator flashes white
You pretty much just dodge in the direction of an attack before it hits, maybe making it easier to explain would be to say dodge into the attack at the time it would take to parry it

It’s a feint. Just like any other attack, you can feint it. This is what he did. He feinted the heavy deflect so that he could deflect again

He have two deflect attack one is a heavy version that can be canceled by a dodge and the second is a light attack

Orochi has a strange zone attack that can go under most attacks not only that but orochis whole kit would be used up pretty quickly so throwing out a zone spices things up
someone please tell me that peacekeepers armor cause it looks amazing
So it isn’t just me. The game throws you in a completely different direction when you dodge cancel out of finishers, I get it all the time and thought it was just me being the issue

You can fully deflect Zerks zone so I think it's possible with Shamans
@@ElliODD. no, I meant the cancel into a third individual deflect. The jump heavy is one the chain heavy is two and the zone would be considered the third deflect.

What are some good tips for the orochi mains out there??? I’m one of them too I just started for honor
1. Dont play orochi due to him at higher levels of play being very easy to punish and counter
2. If you choose to continue to play him, utilize your storm rush to make reads on your enemy and bait option selects/feint alot
As someone who picked up the game in january and has 92 reps, A good starter character would be Valkyrie, PK, Warden

Met a gladiator in 1v1, he had reached his final form, every single light attack i made = deflected, every single feint i made = ignored, every single guard brake i made = fended off. I didn't get a single hit on him. He is T H E final form/best player of the whole game or uses cheats.
