No wonder they uninstalled four times if they have PK at rep 70. The pain this man has gone through.
PK isn't THAT bad. At least not as bad as many people made her out to be. I'm sitting with a rep 32 PK, and 15 of those were from before her rework.

Small tip for any1 new to nobu, you can do 2 option selects, her normal zone, or if u hold down on left joystick, you can do viper's retreat which is much faster than the zone

The dodge light has no dodge frames and the heavy has so little that you’re better off just using it the same way :-)

A lot of people panic dodge whenever you do anything in hidden stance. Use the undodgeable more to scare them into staying still, like shaolin.
I honestly think a lot of ppl simply doesn’t know her heavy finisher can track. As Nobushi main her chains can be scary only bc the opponents try to dodge everything, otherwise the good players I fought would stood their ground and wait for the follow-ups which force me to play extra safe, not to mention her neutral game is still the same.
I’ve been watching people play new nobushi and they never let the heavies fly even though they’d connect and it hurts so much
My is 70. I actually came back to this game just because they finally gave her new combo. It’s not too powerful but when it catches ppl of guard is kinda fun.
I’m kinda happy now there are ppl complaining but I think it’ll died out soon because the strategy to play against her is still the same.
@@tacos5718 yeah because sometimes feint is safer, you get to watch how your opponent would react, do they dodge, go for parry or go for light.
In the end the old fashion feint gb works just fine.
Not sure if I'm really qualified to give you advice but with the dodge heavies and lights I always try to go at around deflect timing for heavy attacks. For bashes and light attacks I find that anticipating them rather than dodging on reaction is more reliable.
I'll translate it into human: I'm a stupid swoon who spams with his plate, and I think that this is normal. And not normal, these are attacks by the bleeding nobu. * meme with chimes*

4:46 Nobu's dodge attacks aren't normal dodges. You have to delay the input for the light/heavy to actually make it dodge. It's almost close to orchi's dash+delayed light timing

Nova if you don't know nobus dash lights and sidewinder attacks can actually be used to dodge and counter attacks and bashes, its pretty satisfying

instead of dodging use more hidden stance, you would get better punnishes and gain access to your finishers
About nobu, I think her dodge heavy is better than dodge light. You can punish those bashes as well as chain into the kick.

You can delay Nobushi dodge attacks so that it can be used as a punish.
My favorite thing as nobu is doing a cobra strike straight into anyone with a dashing forward heavy like warden and warmonger

THe dodge is almost a deflect. Dodge towards the attack to have the proper dodge property. But more or less her dodge attacks are to chain attacks

as a nobushi main i will never light or kick spam. I think that she does not need to resort to such cheap tactics. But when I am doing duels and I have moments like 4:35 I don't hesitate to lightspam if they are going to abuse their chains or light spam
In my opinion nobushi causes too much bleed damage in a light without the need for even a combo or anything. You just gotta do a top light or two and it basically is just as strong as a heavy. What's the point of doing heavies anymore with her?

I hate nobodhi’s I think they only have R1 button I never saw a person uses his R2(heavy)
Now nobushi is the most broken hero of the game, the best thing you can do to stop light spam is dodging and use lights, only if you are lucky, because now has undodgeable heavies

Gladiator is not very happy
Her dodge attacks are less dodge attacks and more just part of her combo, never try to actually dodge with them.
Yeah they're less of a dodge attack and more of a dodge-then-attack, but you have to do the input too early to actually dodge much.
You can actually dodge attacks with the dodge frames and then follow up with a side winder or cobra strike, it just has a lot less distance and a much smaller window to perform the attack.
