  • We have been goose hunting with this decoy trailer for four years. Constantly changing the design and tweaking how we have it set up. Now it's exactly how we want it and what I would consider the Ultimate Goose Trailer! I hope this video helps inspire your Goose Hunting Trailer or hunting trailer and gives you some enclosed trailer layout ideas.
In this video, I go over all the modifications we did to the inside and outside of this enclosed 12-foot cargo trailer. I cover why we made all the modifications and how this trailer helps us be a little more successful throughout the waterfowl season. We primarily use this trailer for hunting fields, but it's also a comfortable camping trailer as well.
Exterior Trailer Modifications: Flood Lights, Trailer Locks, Generator Rack, Rhino Lining. Door Set Up and Maintenance.
Interior Trailer Modifications: Electrical Outlets, Battery Charging System, Interior Bar Lights, Carpeting (Insulation), table for cooking and cleaning, Custom Cabinet System, Rubber Flooring, Cargo Net Organizer, Trash Bin Decoy Wall, Peg Board Hanger. Door Alarm.
    Organization of Trailer:
Cabinet - Motion Stands, Mojo Flags, Mojo Batteries, Batteries, UV Spray, Extra Blind Bag, Calls, etc.
Front of the Cargo Net - Layout Blinds, Socks, Decoy Stands, Decoy Stakes, Flags, Tools, Snow Shovels, Snow Brooms, Dog Blinds, Easy Access Decoys.
Back of Cargo Net - Slotted Decoy Bags, Full Body Goose Decoys, Shell Decoys.

It's the little things that only experience teaches someone that makes all the difference. Consistent organization being the crucial part. Not only do you know it always fit, but you also notice if something is missing. Loading and keeping track of that many decoys is a bit chaotic I noticed last season. Even when everyone is helping pack up, you're less likely to leave a bag of decoys sitting on the field edge and drive away. Nice job man.

Why not just use a battery to run your lights? Simpler than a generator. Generator on the trailer tongue wii get lots of mud on it in field from truck/atv tires.

A battery wouldn’t run the charging system I mentioned or the outlets in the trailer for a heater etc also the generator can run more lights and more power to the lights :) since the generator is on the middle of the tongue of the trailer it doesn’t get any mud, it’s between the tires…I can’t say the same about the front of the trailer lol
