Yes he has photographic memory. Vegard admits that's one of the things he envy about his brother.
Bård, on the other hand, praises Vegard for his huge talent to make everything rhyme - live - on the spot.
They're both so amazingly talented brothers.
I know this is late, but......how have I never heard that Bard has a photographic memory before? Do you remember where you heard him talking about that. Not that there aren't a million interviews it could be from let alone that this was posted 9 years ago. My goodness how time flies.

Edit. It may have been Bård, so Im not going to be set in my opinion. But logically to me it’s Vegard.
Technically Photographic memory is not a thing, the closest thing is an eidetic memory.
I first saw this back in 06, and I still use "modulatioooon" as a joke. No one gets it, though..

Ah yes, this is the Ylvis I remember! Loved them 10-15 years ago, still love them :)
From Bergen, Norway. Musical parents. Lived 5 years in Africa. Both married. Bård has 3 kids, Vegard 2. Plays 15 instruments alltogether. Career start in 2000. Talent hunter discovered Bård in a school play. Both moved to Oslo last year. Puts comedy 1st, singing 2nd. "The Fox" meant to be an anti-hit. They do - and have done - everything from TV-shows, radio shows, talkshows, stage shows and variety shows, to pranks, music videos, skits and so on:)

BUT if you like impressive stuff, check out Bård doing tissue while Vegard plays the cello. This is serious stuff. Bård has no safety-net, and Vegard...OK, maybe cello isn't the instrument he do best;) But it's all very impressive, and that's the point;)

Mona Lisa: Thank you so much! I have been watching many I Kveld med Ylvis vids, all the Ylvis music vids. Now these guys have vids of them being interviewed on USA talk shows. I'm a California local, born & bred, so not anti-Yank, but a couple these interviews are painful to watch---with hosts fawning over the brothers, making silly remarks, and not up to speed on just how talented these two are.
