It's nice to compare this with 340i. I have the latter. Never driven 330i but was always excited by the sound it makes when watching RUclips. You def made me happy for my choice as it made a "big difference" which I wasn't sure about.

I love any BMW no matter what. This 3 Series Touring makes that new chime sound which is good to hear. I actually like the old chime sound.

ye...f30 is still the best car in its class... even new A4 didnt reach it... and 340i xdrive is for me one of the best cars for that money you can get right now...

Are you sure about panoramic roof? It adds 100kg on your roof, and center of gravity suffers. Everything suffers.

I'm so happy that BMW sticks with 8-speed.
7 is not perfect and 9 is worse than 8 (due to dog clutches at least). 8 is perfect.
Please stay with that BMW - until full electrification. They switch to no gearbox :D
yep they are sticking with it, even for the high performance models now

Can you add the Wireless-Charching (4:35) and the USB-Port (4:54) also in a BMW1Series? (For example in the BMW M140i)

Its a 2 ltr 4 cylinder, not a 3 ltr 6 cylinder. its a 320, with a 330 sticker.
guess now we wait 10+ years so i can afford a 340 :P.

Wow, the bicyclists. They really did not give a damn about you, did they? I think in the Netherlands they rule the roads, not cars! ;) In my country they would have been run off the road in that situation.

Great review. As somebody who will do 20,000 mi/year I am liking the look of the 330i, but I would choose manual. I dig your patience. Not many decent people able to cope with selfish and the ignorant left in the world.

AutoTopNL It is B48B20B engine, 100%. Feel free to decode vin to see I am right. Eot for me. EDIT - even the site you linked me confirms, 1st post on 2nd page. :)
Okay, so technically you're right hahah. B46 and B48 are the same engine, but B46 is the SULEV (Super Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle) version for the US. But the one we drove is B48 as you said.

re that stupid panoramic roof - avoid it.
It weights 100kg. So driving this car is like having a fat woman siting on your shoulders. Center of gravity is lifted. And you never use it. Please admit it does not pay off that price it costs.
Depends on what kind of car you want. Do you buy a 330 for the driving dynamics or just as a luxurious daily driver? If it’s the latter, go for the pan roof 100%. I have one and I use it almost every day. I never want a car without one again.

yeah, for example, the old e46 330i.. it might be slow compared to this car, but much more involving.. nobody can deny that driving 3 liter 6 cylinder is more fun than some turboed 4pot

@@monsterrapid I dont know, i kind of like this 4 cylinder sound. Sounds more like a small V8 though. The V6 sounds just smoother and higher rev. I think that bassy tone has something.
