I don't think so he should be one becoz being the president is falling into the puppet loop the system and won't be probably able to speak candidly the way he is now like no strings attached
I quit CA back in Nov '19. It's been 5 years now and I am happy that I took that decision. Today I am working as a Credit Risk Analyst at a top pvt bank and I am a part of a team where I am the only Non CA. CA is not the end, it is just a means to an end.

even our articleship is not considered as work experience . we are considered as fresher wherever we go . what about our 3 yrs wasted. icai needs to change a lot . in 2024 there mindset is of 1947 articleship toh sabse bada scam hwaste of time and metal harassment
whole podcast is a banger but i have to mention a think i genuinely admired- Sir told that he gifted some books to his student and neighbours. I think these kind of good gestures is what we really need in the society. These small gestures can make big impacts on many lifes and create fruitful memories that inspire them also to do good.
I had that kind of principal during articleship who used to give me stipend of 2,000/- pm and instructed me to return it back via another bank account or by cash.. I took transfer after 4 months!!

Mai Final CA drop out hu. Maine 29 years mai shadi ki, MIL ne job nahi karne di, husband struggling CA hai, aur maine after shadi ke 12 years ke baad job ke liye apply kiya..aur Feb24 se ab tak 5 jobs left kar chhuki hu... But I am happy to share that I will start My own training centre from Jan 2025...😅

I myself were a CA student but now I feel it was good decision to just drop this course. again not glorifying it but just keeping an pov. Thankyouu so much for this!
I think Institute has to adapt the changes according to changing economy, all the Question which sir asked are really very very serious .. Institute has to give clarify & also implement the required changes! 👍
Totally worth tp watch, very first i watched full 2+ hour podcast. And when a host & speeker both had CA experience and discussing around CA, then cream, emotion, intelligence come out which is rare combination. Meanwhile i am in the same situation when Deepak bhai was earlier and got much clarity, now will rethink and tale right still as neeraj sir says CA is just love jo chute ni chuta hope with time, ways will open. I really did a podcast with neeraj sir earlier indirectly with podcast project and for sure will meet soon with deepak. Will only say to all, apne man ki awaz ko kabhi mat dabne dena jo bajut zor se sunai de, usko pura kiye bina aap ek better expact kar hi ni sakte. Keep smiling and soon will connect with bigger project and betterment with execution ❤
@Yogi_raj_saini Look other better option, and do CA only if has passion in finance & in numbers. Otherwise it will bore and in the end will not give you much. First of all I will recommend do not go with any formal course, first find what is your interest and what you love to do, then improve the same with more skills and courses and you will enjoy far better life ahead. But if you don't have any such type of interest & passion which you can't monetize then only advise in commerce field to try either MBA, or go in some creative field or other course based learning courses.......it will get from you limited time and give much return in future. In end no one will ask for degree when you start working. But for that you have to explore multiple which is of limited time and has ability to give you much you in future. Do all analysis now and take a decision and even if you last after 4-5 year no issue try switching again...... But do not supress your inner voice, that will only bring you to life's fulfillment which most of person Miss in life. The only advise I can give. Best of luck and keep smiling and going with all charm, enjoy every moment, it is life......do not take pressure 🤞
Harsh Reality! I waana share a incident I attempted my sept 24 exam & i had my paper on ganesh chaturthi it took me ages to reach the center's all roads were blocked , ICAI should think abt the Student at some point ..
CA Course in Single line : Give your 100% Efforts , Dedication and Focus through out the Preparation Phase with Nearly 0 Expectation . Hence , If you want to be Eternally Financially Stable Irrespective of Change of Era in Tech / Governance Patterns then it will Definitely cost you the Above Line .
I just want to share my story, I've cleared my CAInter exams in sep.24 and joined ITT in Hyderabad, there as part of new syllabus, we have zoho books, ITT syllabus got updated like 8 months ago, where zoho books was added, to enter transactions like sales and purchases etc, we can start 14 trail but not many options of zoho books cannot be unlocked in this trail version, however those things are there in the syllabus of ITT course, now-a-days colleges are making MOU with accounting software to give them premium or paid version of the software at low cost, being statutory body, ICAI very well could do such things, and the most shocking partis we have to give MCQ test for the things, which we couldn't learn, and ITT syllabus and way of teaching has to be overhauled. Kudos to sir, for bringing up these issues, like everyone talks about student exam issue and articleship issue, but ITT issue has to be taken care of, we CA students and members must be good at least in word and excel and aplications like power bi, to good value to our resume. Sir you are right I think they just give marks according to their wish.. in my copy there is no red mark, correctly written with points still they have given me 1.5 out of 5.. then my question is how well should we present the paper to get full marks.. what is this going on! really speechless..
I am not a CA student but I listen each podcast of Neeraj sir whether it is on personal finance or specific CA related. Neeraj sir is one of the great & down to earth personality.
Ca inter Jan 25 exams are scheduled to be held on sankranti, most of the Telugu States don't have transportation on that day and most of the hostels will be closed for atleast 3 days during sankranti 😢
I remember when the result came, I had given my best but still fail in law. At that day I completely give up but my father motivated me to give one more chance but I don't want to give another but for sake of my father I am doing in January but even I know I'll not pass and I am quiting CA. Really inspiring conversation ,Sir is 38 & exploring new things where I am age of 52 years & still stuck to complete CACourse & studying, unfortunately still I am stuck with this course & not moving ahead
I am a CS aspirant. Same goes with CS Institute. The institute never listens to the problems of students and many times behaves arrogant and there is no transparency about paper checking and when students asks the institute behaves very rudely😢😢The institutes are only concerned about their reputation
2011 CA. G.Ramaswami sir he is best president of all time he understands the students he change many things. After 2020 now days ICAI trying to fail students and stop supporting students
we should do a Ground protest may be govt. may be supreme court might hear us and now days opposition party is paying a lot of attention also to any kind of protest
These are even happening to CMA institute aspirants. Their answers are exactly correct but stillll their answers are marked for 1-2 narks out of 7 marks... It is reallyyyyy veryyyy hurtfull😢
Neeraj ji u were telling that what ever help let it be in course preparation or any other things in academic point of view u r ready to do it without any charge. My humble request to u is this is a very good and noble thought why to wait for the institute to to tell u to do this. From ur bottom of ur heart u think if this ha to be done kindly do it. It would've been really helpful to students and aspirants all over India if it only were a full English podcast but being Hindi limits exposure to northerners or Hindi speakers There are much needed people of this information atleast add a English CC
Good to hear someone raising the voice against wrong doings in the CA institute. I am a member of CA institute, but I have given up my CoP more than 2 decades back as I wanted to focus on the industry, thinking that it would be good to work in the industry with single minded devotion. Worked in many sectors and domains. I wanted to utilise this experience but after retirement age when I tried to do CFO services, found that majority of this has been taken by CAs in practice by starting a separate Consultancy firm .... Also have come across many people from the Institute Councils in this rat race. They dont want to share even a small portion to the deserving CAs who are exclusively from the Industry. They want to be on both sides of the table and turn a blind eye to people specialised in their work. So much for being ethical and straight-forward in the business with a CA tag.

Articleship ke to kya hi kehne ek mere principal the unhone meri extension lga di 6 months ki jab maine transfer manga....kaam ni sikhate kch pucho to btate nhi ek baar me kya krna hai....humiliate krte alag....gadho ki tarah kaam lete....jaise free ka noukar pa gye ho...aur jab stipend dene ki baat aati to inko mout aa jati thi....monthly prescribed stipend bhi nhi dete the... 3,4 mhine ki jod kr dete the aur wo bhi kaat kr 😂 ki lene me bhi shrm aaye agle ko...unki firm chhodte wqt unhone meri 3 months ki stipend bhi kaat li aur maine bhi chhod di...rkh lo bhai tmko jada jarurat hogi...ye to aalam h....itne khrb experiences h ki yhn share bhi nhi kr skte....😑😑
same goes with me... I used to serve tea to clients, made project for principal's kid, even cooked sandwich at office... and the saddest part was there was no proper washroom for females... No light, no water and the window was also broken

I have paid back 1,20,000 stipend to my principal to get transferred in third year even when I had the proper reason specified by the institute. Loan leke pay Kiya tha😢

Yeshe Gine Chune log hai . Fresh Package ₹40 LPA bhi toh hai na . Avg Package of CA is Still ₹7-8 LPA , if in 1st Attempt with Good Article-ship then Avg Package in ₹15-18 LPA in Tier 1 Cities .

I am a CS aspirant. Same goes with CS Institute. The institute never listens to the problems of students and many times behaves arrogant and there is no transparency about paper checking and when students asks the institute behaves very rudely😢😢The institutes are only concerned about their reputation

Good to hear someone raising the voice against wrong doings in the CA institute.
I am a member of CA institute, but I have given up my CoP more than 2 decades back as I wanted to focus on the industry, thinking that it would be good to work in the industry with single minded devotion. Worked in many sectors and domains. I wanted to utilise this experience but after retirement age when I tried to do CFO services, found that majority of this has been taken by CAs in practice by starting a separate Consultancy firm ....
Also have come across many people from the Institute Councils in this rat race. They dont want to share even a small portion to the deserving CAs who are exclusively from the Industry. They want to be on both sides of the table and turn a blind eye to people specialised in their work.
So much for being ethical and straight-forward in the business with a CA tag.
Sometimes, I feel better that I didn't choose CA.

Articleship ke to kya hi kehne ek mere principal the unhone meri extension lga di 6 months ki jab maine transfer manga....kaam ni sikhate kch pucho to btate nhi ek baar me kya krna hai....humiliate krte alag....gadho ki tarah kaam lete....jaise free ka noukar pa gye ho...aur jab stipend dene ki baat aati to inko mout aa jati thi....monthly prescribed stipend bhi nhi dete the... 3,4 mhine ki jod kr dete the aur wo bhi kaat kr 😂 ki lene me bhi shrm aaye agle ko...unki firm chhodte wqt unhone meri 3 months ki stipend bhi kaat li aur maine bhi chhod di...rkh lo bhai tmko jada jarurat hogi...ye to aalam h....itne khrb experiences h ki yhn share bhi nhi kr skte....😑😑

same goes with me... I used to serve tea to clients, made project for principal's kid, even cooked sandwich at office... and the saddest part was there was no proper washroom for females... No light, no water and the window was also broken

I had to wait 2 monthas to get my foundation books, i mailed everyone and called evryone , at last i had to shout at them and within a week i got my books

Sir I cleared foundation in sep 24 but in my first attempt i got 33 in law and I was attempt 90+ marks in that paper and I got 45 marks in sep attempt in which I only attempt 67 marks paper..... Wtf institute is playing with us
Same l also cleared foundation in Sep 2024. Attempted 70 got 60 💀
While my other friend attempted around 85 and got 59 lol
