10. Sun Bank
11. WESH News Bumper
12. "Christmas In Washington" Commercial Bumper
13. AT&T (With Cliff Robertson)
14. Promo for "Mr. Smith" (As you can see, this show was about a talking orangutan, and described by the A.V. Club as a "famously terrible show". The episode here was actually the last aired before its cancellation) and "Jennifer Slept Here"

c. Report suggests Murders of Nuns in El Salvador was covered up by top El Salvadoran Military officials (en.wikipedia.o...)
d. Stock Market down for third straight day

24. TV Spot for "Gorky Park"
25. "Cheers" Commercial Bumper
26. Master Card (With Christie Brinkley modeling the "lion mane" hairdo)
27. Happy Cat Cat Food (Still can't get over the generic name of this product...it sounds like a company that Catwoman would own on the 60's "Batman" TV Show)
28. Kodak Disc Camera
29. Promo for "Buffalo Bill" (Yes, that's Geena Davis, this was one of her first roles)
30. Promo for "Diff'rent Strokes", "Silver Spoons" and "Manimal"
NBC's 1983 season... you had to "Be There" for all the duds we saw here!
That food in the Winn Dixie spot seems SO cheap!
1:28 & 0:13 Love the Texas Instruments Professional Computer commercial. I'm restoring several of these systems. Thanks for archiving and posting these!
0:37 - Peeper? Okay, I must know the backstory behind this nickname...
They caught "Peeper" spying on big brother and his girlfriend doing it.
The opening of that Texas Instruments commercial looks like it couldve been in a trailer for a slasher movie
Mr Smith-yeah i see why that show didnt last very long lol..had it been around today it'd be on either Comedy Central or Adult Swim
Gorky Park-good thriller
Different Strokes-i remember that episode, youd think Arnold and Willis would be having PTSD flashbacks from the last time they were held at gunpoint(during that bank robbery)
Manimal-if NBC could try(and fail) to reboot Knight Rider, why couldnt they have done the same with this show..
Thinking of these jingles, about a week ago I wasn't paying attention to the TV then all of a sudden my attention is drawn to the tail-end of a commercial. I hear a familiar jingle that's music to my ears: adage.com/article/cmo-strategy/miller-high-life-reviving-a-classic-slogan/306869/
01:30- weren't computers invented so you don't have to work all night??
08:11 - to be fair, the US marines had their barracks blown up by a truck bomb six weeks earlier, killing 241 of them, so they were a little jumpy
The Lebanese driver also failed to stop the car after the marines told him to stop.
Was the white car shown on screen the actual car, or just stock footage? It doesn't seem like something a us news crew would travel in..
Yes, that's the actual car. I'll be posting a newscast later this week that has a more in-depth story about the incident.
Here's the newscast I was talking about: ruclips.net/video/0IbvJlK5lCs/видео.htmlm20s
None of my siblings wanted to talk with me after I moved out. 🤓
3:13 national cowboy hall of fame is still around.
Hey Brothers Ice Cream stopped existing in the 1990s.
Circle Line is still going strong.
I guess that was the manufacturer. Maybe there is still an ice cream parlor? There is a facebook page.
