Nobody says that it's a bad product, it just doesn't have the correct name (rtx 4060) and price (270$) and for the 16gb variant 330$, the same with the rtx 3060 12gb before it. If that was the case, the reviews would have been a lot more positive and overall a compeling product. The same could be said for the rx 7600 by the way. it should have cost at most 200$. But you know, companies are still in their la la land and forget that the economy globally is in a steep recession, but here we have Nvidia asking 400$ for an 8gb 128bit bus gpu and 100$ more for 8gb more vram without any improvement on the performance. Total insanity.

If he's playing in 1080p, it's gonna run the same. The difference is the 6700XT he won't be able to take advantage of DLSS or ray tracing... the 4060TI for a new budget build, especially if 1080p is the goal and you don't need VRAM, is perfect.@@garbagepotato

I have this same kit with 16gb of RAM, but in my case I'm having a lot of problems with stuttering, my motherboard is pcie 3 and the processor is heating up a little, would that be the problem?
I oriented my fans around the cpu to both be intake fans to supply cold air to the wraith cooler. I think the case by default has these fans both as exhaust fans choking the cpu cooler off. Make sure you have enough escape ventilation or the heat will become trapped inside like a convection oven. I also remove pcie covers below the gpu so the hot air can escape right there instead of staying in the case.
Hey I know this is a bit late, but I've heard somewhere on reddit which says cards that use x8 PCIE 4.0 connections (which the 4060 Ti does) when limited to PCIE 3.0, it runs on x8 PCIE 3.0, which causes performance to suffer dramatically. So really the only option would be to upgrade your CPU and/or motherboard to one which supports PCIE 4.0. Hope this helps

So far with my setup it seems so. I'm playing 2160x1080 so 21:9 Ultrawide so in between 1080p and 1440p res. Tops out around 350fps, I can't get any higher than that in any games really with the cpu. But bottoms out around 70fps if maxed out in most demanding games with raytracing (excluding Cyberpunk RT Overdrive which is pathtaced and you can get to 35-45 fps if you tweak the settings. Higher you crank the graphics, the less the cpu matters. As long as the cpu is fast enough to keep up with the game on it's own you should be fine. Obscure games that rely heavily on cpu speed might slow down slightly, but you could solve that with a 5800x3d upgrade down the line. It would be easy to flip a 5600 for half the price and not take much of a loss since it's so cheap. 2142 Max Raytracing off I can get over 100fps .Raytracing on I get around 70fps. Below 1440p I don't run into vram issues it seems either.
Just bought a 4060ti, i got a 3600x. It can play Apex legends with more than 200fps. Alan wake 2 ultra setings 1080, fg, rt on medium 60 fps, can even handle 1440p with rt off or with lower settings... My 1070 is proud of its new substitute It was a nice upgrade for me...

As an upgrade from the 3060/3060ti, it makes no sense. But if you're building a new pc, maybe it's actually a good option.

5600g has less cache memory and its an APU, 5600 and 5600x are better if you have a gpu
