  • British aerobatic champion Diana Britten MBE, displaying excellent flying skills in her Muddy CAP232 aircraft, in front of the crowd at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford's Flying Finale 2023. In 1995 Diana became the first woman ever to win the British Aerobatic Championship.
My apologies for the quality of the sound, with the Catalina running its engines close by during most of this display.
Diana's aircraft is a CAP 232, manufactured in France by CAP Aviation. It was the last in their line of unlimited aerobatic aircraft. The fuselage is a composite wooden and carbon fibre construction and the wings are carbon fibre. The CAP 232 is the most pilot-friendly, best-performing and comfortable World Class Unlimited aircraft available. Pilots flying this type have won many World Championships.
