Ankle Inversion Sprain Taping Tutorial

A sprained ankle is one of the most common sports injuries and is also the most frequently re-injured. In the majority of cases the ankle rolls inwards (inversion) under the weight of the rest of the body, resulting in damage to the ligaments on the outside of the ankle.
In this video Callum Davidson Sports Therapist shows us how he tapes ankles to prevent inversion sprains.

Usually you will want to rub the attaching tape to the anchor using heat (friction) to help apply. Depending on the type of tape this may not be necessary but if the tape doesn't touch the anchor strip it wont hold well.
