Thank you for bringing back memories. It's been thirty five years since I've been there. I never saw any unhappy faces climbing around on Castle Rock. Right after the 1989 quake, cliff side portion(s) of the Saratoga Gap trail were fractured like they were right on top the San Andreas fault. During the five years I was there it seemed like we had quakes all the time. Funny how Silicon Valley residents seemed right at home in a quake but terrified by thunder and lightning. Here in SW Florida the humidity and summer heat index is unbearable to compared to Sunnyvale.
Nearly 100°F ?!? Nope! I didn't move to San Francisco to be hot (or cold). I was raised in Central Arkansas (98°F at 8am w/ 98% humidity and no rain) , lived the beginning of my adult life in Chicago (3am -30°F; I always had a white Xmas) to Seattle (after living all around the coastline in Florida until I ended up in the Pacific Northwest (almost in Canada) to San Francisco where the weather is perfect all year round. It took 20+ years for me to find this out. I'm not about to leave 🙃 Keep up the videos my new imaginary friend!!
Haha yes San Francisco seems to be in the 60s and 70s year round. But about an hour drive to the east or south, you will find some pretty hot days! Thank you so much for watching!
Haha, I like the way you talked; I just went to the park after watched your videos a few times, good to go.

Nice! that gave me some idea what the trails are like. I'm going to hike there pretty soon.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy the park! It's one of my favorites!

Anytime the weather goes above 75 degrees, I run back inside 😂 I'm definitely a winter person
I usually don't come out to hike in such heat but luckily most of the trail was shaded! >.< 70-75 degrees is my ideal temperature =)
