Euphree, I know you're reading the comments. That motor noise is unacceptable. Bafang should have several 750 watt hub motors to choose from....maybe choose another.
This bothered me too so I spoke to them about this and it's a characteristic of this variant of the Bafang H640 hub motor that has more power than usual. They say it tends to quiet down over time. I guess we'll have to wait and see...
Thank you so much for this excellent review. The Stellar Falcon looks like the bike for me except for two things: 1. I want a one-button push to switch between torque and cadence; 2. I need to swap the suspension post for a shorter seat position (inseam is 28").
The problem with the mirror is the hole in the end of the handlebar is not big enough about an inch in and it needs to be drilled bigger. They are working on fixing this for future shipments.
I was considering ordering this bike but having them install the swept back handlebars from the City Robin instead to achieve a slightly less aggressive riding stance. I'm 5'10". What do you think? Would that make it even more comfortable to ride?
Nothing broke but I’m not sure what that was? It was the only time it did that and at first I thought maybe the chain jumped a tooth on the freewheel but I don’t think it did. It hasn’t done it since tho?
Hi buddy, can I ask you a question, I'd appreciate it if you could answer. Anioki a8 pro or lankeleisi x3000 max 2000 volt bicycle or lankeleisi x3000 max 2000 volt bicycle, does it take steep ramps well? Will you test the Anioki a8 pro on your ramp? thanks.
They are both great bikes and the X+ is a very comfortable ride with the swept back Handlebars but this one has more power. I would say probably this one.
Nice review this bike with both cadence and torque assist plus all the other features may be the one for my wife. Only thing is she is 5 ft. Not sure might be too high. We have a dealer not to far away, she will have to test ride it.
The option to choose between torque and cadence sensor is a nice idea but sadly the torque sensor mode fall way short in terms of performance. I will add that I have yet to ride any rear hub motor that use torque sensors to work anywhere near as well as the mid drive options.

You should hear my Kepler's custom wound Bafang 1,000 watt nominal 52V.. LoL

Love how they run the wires to keep such a clean look
Definitely a clean look. It also makes it super easy to mount and unmount the front basket.
Interesting bike. Good options especially for either torque or cadence.
I’ve had this bike for about a month now and I think it is awesome. The motor is a little noisy, but I am used to it by now and don’t really notice.
Glad you love it! Enjoy!

They should try to get this bike into sporting goods stores . Higher end hunting and fishing places too. Guys in there have bucks ro spend.
@13:05 ......yep, I'm convinced that was a rear spoke popping. You must have a broken spoke. go take a look.
Hmm . Would be good for anyone but us old timers would be happy with the torque sensor feature.
Great review!
Thanks!
This bike has very clean and classy lines. Can you wrap the mirror with cloth or electrical tape and shove it in? Love the weight and speed.

@@JeremiahMcintosh I have a different bike and my problem was the opposite.

@13:05 Good review......do we know what that noise was yet? sounds like something broke somewhere on that bike!

The motor noise is a deal breaker for me, otherwise it's awesome
Are the rider height specs different on the mid step vs the step through ? Does the mid step accommodate taller riders ?
What do you recommend for a full suspension electric mountain bike?

Do you prefer this model or the City Robin X + more?

@@JeremiahMcintosh Thanks. How about the Stellar Falcon vs the Rad Power Radster Trail?
@@georgebc3 I'm on the fence between those same two...Falcon vs Trail
Great video and review👍! This is Hidoes and we also have great electric bikes. We just sent you an email and are looking forward to hearing from you😀

I've never seen an ebike offering torque or cadence pedal assist , it looks interesting, I wonder if they ship this ebike to the UK?

That's bigger than the Pinus . Faster maybe too😂
😂
