His little girl eventually became a singer but had to hide her identity and past for obvious reasons. in real life, she was passed around by KMT officials and used accordingly, but eventually had to get out of showbiz for a hard life hidden away for the rest of her life. However the stylized ending was surely what everyone who was victim on 228 would like to give back to their oppressors. Note also the painting used in the portrait shots was by another 228 victim whose burial after being executed by the KMT was stylized in the funeral scene.

Metalheads may pick up their music if something of theirs come up on RUclips or Spotify or the like and catches their eyes and ears; or perhaps they'd be Taiwanese living in oz that have heard of Chthonic before; or the even rarer breed like myself, a Taiwanese metalhead living in oz that also shares their and Freddy's political ideology, are well versed in Chthonic matters as well as Taiwanese politics, and detests the KMT with an absolute passion.

I just wish if they ever make a new album, it would be less Symphonic Metalcore but more like their old stuff between Relentless Recurrence and Takasago Army. Eventho Takasago Army is more like Melodic Black/Death, its still one of my 3 favourite albums of all time, such a brutal and melancholic masterpiece that made me literally fall in love with indigenous Taiwan.

影片女子可能指的是白恐受難者鄒族高一生之女高菊花。MV情節十分符合高菊花女士受難者之女、歌廳唱歌、被黨國強迫性剝削、多次想要輕生等過往。
其在高一生被抓尚未槍斃的那幾年，為了賺錢養母親與弟妹到歌廳駐唱，藝名“派娜娜”，家裡長輩接近80歲的可能聽過這位女歌星
以下一樓及二樓留言節錄台中市文化局出版-“暴風雨下的中師：臺中師範學校師生政治受難紀實”中高菊花女士段落
從1954年4月17日高一生被處決，到1971年7月1日高菊花領到自首證，十七年多，她受到警總嚴格監控，形同監獄外的囚徒，另類政治犯。「父親不在之後，倒楣的就是我，我被政府修理得不得了。到現在我還不想說那些事。」（註26）這是她在1993年說的，她其實是有透露的，只是如吳易叡所說的，這是「無法公共的記憶」，（註27）除非我們社會成熟到一定程度。
首先，我們來看看情治單位如何整她。
當時保安司令部下轄的嘉義山地治安指揮所（原吳鳳治安指揮所）設在奮起湖，副指揮官是陳世昌。高一生被處決後，高菊花常被叫去整夜訊問，「硬說我在二二八事變後就參加臺灣什麼蓬萊組織（名稱記不清了）」。由於經常訊問，晚上要從達邦走到十字路，再走到奮起湖，到奮起湖不給她睡覺，一直問。她實在受不了，後來有長輩叫她離開比較好。加上家計問題，她只好到嘉義去。（註28）
逃得了奮起湖的情治單位，逃不了無所不在的黨國機制。在高雄羅夢娜歌廳唱歌時，她也被抓，當時基隆和高雄都戒嚴，過了晚上戒嚴時間還沒回去，老闆娘以為她一定被槍斃了，還哭了一個晚上。她說：他們每次都不乾脆把她抓走，一直抓抓放放，名為「約談」，她跟他們說：「你們這樣好像把一條蛇打得半死，再放他求生，實在很過分。」有一次被抓到新店，給她吃得好好的，她以為就是最後一餐了，接下來就是槍斃，結果沒有，又送回臺北。這應該是1955年她到臺北唱歌之後的事。（註29）
高菊花受創最大的還不是這些「約談」。她是女性、原住民，加上「共匪」之女，三重弱勢，淪為黨國冷酷剝削的對象。她在羅夢娜駐唱時，一位掛星階級的國防部將領要她服務一位波蘭籍的共產黨頭子（冷戰時期的複雜故事，容略），他們跟她說「如果能幫這個忙，日後要自首也會比較快速方便，而我當時則是這樣想，恐怕我早晚都是要被槍斃的，不幫忙也不行，只好答應。」請讀者注意，接下來高菊花怎麼說：「我們鄒族的貞操觀念很深，要幫這種忙實在是很難受，可是不得已呀，為了家裡，為了信守承諾──父親說要照顧媽媽跟弟弟、妹妹──，我要想辦法活下去，不能那麼容易就被槍斃，活下去也才有能力賺錢養家。唉，運氣不好啦。」（註30）

其實閃靈的歌 都是被國民黨掩蓋著的歷史 去發掘歌詞背後的故事 真的會想一頭鑽進去一窺台灣的過去究竟是甚麼樣的光景
我想...閃靈在出民謠版(或稱不插電板)之前 會將這些歌以聲嘶力竭的金屬死腔演唱 為的就是不想讓聽者覺得太過悲傷與沉痛吧!
但不論以哪種方式去詮釋 歷史就是歷史 已經發生過了 真相永遠只有一個 只有獨裁者才會去竄改歷史 顛倒是非!
所以可以了解昶佐為何主張台灣獨立 過去的台灣 有的只有悲慘的殖民史 這片土地上的人民永遠也沒有屬於自己的主權 唯有獨立 國際上才有所謂的對等 成為一個真正的國家 人民才有尊嚴!

Metalheads may pick up their music if something of theirs come up on RUclips or Spotify or the like and catches their eyes and ears; or perhaps they'd be Taiwanese living in oz that have heard of Chthonic before; or the even rarer breed like myself, a Taiwanese metalhead living in oz that also shares their and Freddy's political ideology, are well versed in Chthonic matters as well as Taiwanese politics, and detests the KMT with an absolute passion.

oh man, I love this band....and really like the vibe of the sound....
I just wish if they ever make a new album, it would be less Symphonic Metalcore but more like their old stuff between Relentless Recurrence and Takasago Army. Eventho Takasago Army is more like Melodic Black/Death, its still one of my 3 favourite albums of all time, such a brutal and melancholic masterpiece that made me literally fall in love with indigenous Taiwan.
Great music and it seems like a powerful message. This looks like a deep music video/lyrics. Props to everyone involved.
