This song is absolute poetry. The flow of the lyrics is unmatched by anything else I've heard this year...it was my anthem of the summer and it may just go down as my number one song of the year.
I love this piece! Nostalgic, melancholic but at the same time encouraging and dancing, therefore happy. Thank you, we're broadcasting the song on our independent radio.
before good things 23 didnt hear of slowly or stand atlantic, im so glad i saw both as goddamn they have alot of good stuff on offer, and IMO their cover of i miss you is better then the original
Really think they've gone backwards since Race Car Blues. A devolution of the sound. Whereas Race Car Blues was a heavy emotional album, there last songs have become simpler and more juvenile. After their second album Siamese Dream, Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins said that the band "needed to grow up, and stop pretending we were 22". Their third album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, is considered one of the greatest double albums of all time, and is deep, different, and a clear evolution of that band's sound. I think Slowly Slowly should do the same thing.
And soon after The Smashing Pumpkins released ‘Adore’ in 1998, arguably at the peak of their fame-an album that was a complete departure from their past & one that alienated their audience. Only years later it was understood within the context of their discography. You think you are on the right side of history with this comment, but it’s people like you that stand in the way of artists growing and trying new things. Our new album isn’t even out yet, but it’s lovely you feel compelled enough from a few singles to spread negativity on our RUclips channel. The album of ours that you say you love, ‘Race Car Blues’, has a song on it called ‘The Internet’. Enjoy.
My take is no surprise. The best new music of the last 10 years have come from female artists solo or in bands. These guys are weak- the vocals are auto-tuned and terrible- monotone. I know allot of people like this kind of sound. I'e heard way too much of it over 30 years since the 80's. Peace.
I've heard Ben (the vocalist) live in-person, and in incredibly raw acoustic performances (chook tunes). There might be some vocal effects here and there in this track to give it some personality, but he absolutely doesn't use autotune. Guy is an incredible singer.
Never heard them before and have no idea who they are but I am glad RUclips recommended me this! Will definitely listen to more of their stuff
Yeah theyre really really good
I went through the majority of their discography after hearing this song and I haven’t have a bad one yet. I really like Blueprint
Been listening them since PMTWGR they have a unique sound that my ears have fallen in love with lol
Welcome to the Slowly Slowly family! 🥰
They're amazing, a unique band indeed 🎉
this whole record is just free dopamine from start to finish, so good

Stunning! The boys never disappoint
Something about the lead singer's voice reminds me of Josh Ramsay's from Canadian pop punk band Marianas Trench. Love the poppy indie rock vibe

Do I hear some The Story So Far inspiration?
