Michael Oliver isn't the only incompetent ref there, that is the problem. if it was just him, sack him, but it's not just him, Paul Tierney as well, get rid! Paul Tierney should never referee or VAR or anything on a Liverpool game again in my opinion and Oliver the same for Arsenal. You're right, Bernando Silva is a dirty player. I call him Bastardo Silva. He's like Roy Keane with technical abilities (don't @ me, you know I'm right, Roy Keane was a bully in his day).
Arsenal, you are not alone. Liverpool has been pointing to the obvious for years now... I mean, no other club flew PGMOL officials to the UAE for thrice the fee they get in the EPL... other than City.
Pretty sure if Arsenal file a complaint or potential law suit to Michael Oliver for potentially bringing the game into disrepute then he wouldn't be able to officiate any of our games for the rest of the season. Then any money lost on a potential filing of a lawsuit would not be as costly/damaging financially as Michael Oliver officiating our games would probably be.

sorry but the yellow for the seagull celebration was the worst by far the rest you can half understand, other way around a players rakes a back of a heel with no intent for the ball it gets dropped after a day also other teams have had the goal arsenal scored chalked off so ultimately nothing was changed
VAR doesn't need to be completely separated, but it needs to become a proper assistant, changing the "clear and obvious error" to "I disagree with you, mate, I have a video to show you".
Remember when we were supposed to have the automated offsides brought in after the first International Break? PFMOL and Accountability. Name a more iconic duo, 7:03 spot on. The NHL has separate bodies doing video review from the on ice referees. It is shocking that someone can go from on field Saturday and then doing var on Sunday..
I was in the Kop for yesterdays game and I can assure you there was not a single person in the stadium that thought that Endo tackle wasn't a straight red. The boo's and whistles were deafening.

Surely those operating VAR need to be independent of the PGMOL. I have no problem if they ask the ref to have a look at the monitor and he then sticks with his original decision but this "not getting involved" or "upholding the on field decision" feels like mates marking each others homework.

Good stuff…agree with everything…well said Coz the mainstream media won’t say it…👏👏👍
100% the VAR needs to be a completely different organisation!
This needs to continue. Someone needs to do a full analysis of all these decisions collectively at the end of the season. Needs investigating
The whole point in VAR was a diffusion of responsibility. They don't want fans showing up at ref's homes anymore so they have VAR to say more then one person has supported this decision.
Having said that i think VAR has made the game worse
VAR was introduced to reduce controversy in football, but it seems like VAR has made the situation even worse
Saw a lot of arsenal fans yesterday claim the pgmol are helping Liverpool win the league and then the Enciso challenge happened and I just thought "ah yes liverpools opponents not getting a red for a blatant red card challenge is the pgmol helping Liverpool win the league"
And you thought that commenting about some stupid rival fans on the internet that you don't agree with is worth while. Instead of concentrating on PGMOL. Fairs.
Sure you did. I hope you can prove it by showing us those arsenal fans who said that.
we must all stand together as football fans first
Spot on Mark!
What about the assault on Endo from the Ipswich plater. !!
That was far far worse than Lewis stopping a counter attack !!
I can't believe what I'm seeing this wouldn't be tolerated in the European leagues !!
Don't forget another krow**n known as chris Kavanaugh
The problem is not VAR itself it the fact that it's not independent from the PGMOL
We are use to this corruption from referees and people dare say our fans complain about nothing
Thing is liverpool had had the biggest Robberys last season and it cost them the title not the bad form last going off but no one mentions it
Arsenal, you are not alone.
@gladiatorscoops4907 any team, apart from City, would make a worthwhile investment doing this, yes.
This is spot on the commentators are in on it. I actually would like a feature where you can turn of commentary. They add nothing and more likely take away from the game
He wasn't always incompetent. In fact he was the best referee in England right up until he went to ref in the UAE.
Is that a coincidence?? I doubt it.
Mark you are speaking complete sense, but nothing will be done. Its corrupt, thanks Mark for have the bottle to say it as it is
sorry but the yellow for the seagull celebration was the worst by far the rest you can half understand, other way around a players rakes a back of a heel with no intent for the ball it gets dropped after a day also other teams have had the goal arsenal scored chalked off so ultimately nothing was changed
Your point on the commentators is so right!!!!
Good video. Genuine separation might improve things.
Name a more iconic duo,
7:03 spot on.
It needs an INDEPENDENT review board.
Question: Even if VAR sent Oliver to the screen, do we honestly think he would say oh I got that wrong, let me change my decision"?
As they say a fish rots from the head down
Spot on Mark! Honestly, my respect for you went even further up for your unbiased view.
It’s not incompetence. It’s pure corruption. He can’t be this bad and continue having a job. Anyone and their grandmother would be fired making those kinds of mistakes at their work. Again, it starts from the top. It’s like the police getting away with murder because they know their union will back them regardless
The technology of VAR highlights how bad PGMOL have been all along.
Its just another decision by Oliver that benefits city
100 percent mark well said
This is corruption. No one can be that stupid. He wanted to do it.
Surely those operating VAR need to be independent of the PGMOL. I have no problem if they ask the ref to have a look at the monitor and he then sticks with his original decision but this "not getting involved" or "upholding the on field decision" feels like mates marking each others homework.
"Bernardo Silva would be sent off". The best joke of this year. Take off your glasses, you're already blurry.
Tackle from Behind with Studs up it was more dangerous foul than Skelly
You're joking, right? He tackled from behind, studs showing... That's a red all day every day, except for City.
This muppet is a shiteh fan of course.. wouldn't know football if the ball kicked up and broke his nose
You have lose it 21DMN
ok 115 brainrot fc supporter
Well said Mark. Michael Oliver is becoming a bit of an elephant in the room
Norwegian league is already getting rid of VAR and everybody else should follow suit.
Are they really or is it something that's being talked about? Honest question, I really don't know.
I wish. Can’t even celebrate goals anymore because I fear that something happened before and they might take it back. VAR has really ruined football for me.
@@surabaya5927majority of clubs from the two highest leagues have voted against respectively, however a decision is expected to be made by the national organisation in March
Clubs were offered the chance to get rid of VAR and chose not to from memory it’s not actually VAR it’s the idiots using it
@@Dan24.same here. It’s dreadful.
I don't know how bad the systems are in England. That never happens here in US
He’s always going at us Bernardo silva wasn’t a red it wasn’t a dangerous tackle it was just slowing down play it would be more talked about if it was a red
Tackling from behind, studs up, not a red? You must be having a laugh, hey? City fans...
@coen8677 Yeah we're having a laugh, it's either has to be a dangerous tackle or a foul from a breakaway to be a red. Doku kick last season yes Liverpool deserve a pen. But Bernardo? Never a red
@@coen8677 if it was a red it would be talked about way more and if it went against ur team u would be going mad it’s a clear yellow not much else
@YitzHyman that's not how this works. It's a red. You can't tackle players from behind, studs up, preventing a break away. That's a red. Simply preventing a break away is a yellow. Not all penalty shouts and bad bookings get talked about each week, there are too many to talk about because of the PGMOL...
@@coen8677 so with ur rules there should be a red card every game
The Rodri sleeve incident a couple of years ago really put my back up. Imagine being an Everton fan on that day, and I don't say this an Everton fan.
Notice how City never get anything against them?
seems very fishy, like last season doku fouls mac allister, how was that Not a pen and a red card
Ref blowing the whistle while grealish on a breakaway against Spurs. Not as much as other big club but still you can't say they never got one
So true! It's not just Arsenal, it happened on many occasions to other clubs, including Liverpool and United. Disgraceful
