Yea this weapon is kind of broken. Not sure if you can upgrade it more but man does that damage feel good. I think the Space ranger gun might do more if upgraded. But that requires charge shots. What do you guys think?
I feel like Morpho Sword will be better for blasting through bosses. It looks like it can rack up damage quickly, so it has a high DPS, and it looks higher than even Space Ranger (with the exception of its charge shots, but those take time) . Alongside the life steal on hit which encourages aggression, the dodge is fast and is an easy "get out of jail free" card. I can easily see this being best Ability in the game.
yea easily the best. I got to the super secret boss in final tournament and dropped the damn thing. Kept losing now lmao

i honestly am used to using the hammer because it’s so overpowered in the recent kirby games and as i like to use the most powerful weapon in my games if this morpho knight sword is stronger than the upgraded hammer i’m also using the morpho knight sword when i fight coas elflis but that’s only if it’s the strongest weapon in the game

Well I mean it makes sense knowing Kirby defeated void termina and other eldritch gods in his universe
this is Kirby showing his capability of absorbing a specific creature's powers and techniques, just like he does in Smash

Imagine if they added the ultra sword ability in this game. That would be really broken. Also this lore is pretty dark and good. So Kirby can easily control the power of Morpho Knight’s sword. So it’s child’s play for him. Shouldn’t really be a surprise due to how he was easily able to wield and use Meta Knight’s sword in amazing mirror.

@@AblazeKing7 not confirmed but heavily implied "VOID"s(void termina's true arena, true arena might not be cannon but the pause menu text is) pause menu text implies that if void was given positive emotions instead of negative ones he would maybe become a second Kirby instead of void termina
If you use an HP extension, both Knight upgrades to the Sword ability get their sword beams as long the extra health bar is available.

Pretty sure Kirby has access to the Soul shooting move and wave attack from Morpho Knight as well
If you hold block and charge your attack it does that attack where morpho knight sends out the forgo larva to home in in you, if you do it midair it does the morpho knight confusion blast
You can make the hypnotic wave Morpho Knight did using the same buttons, but in midair
Ah, so that's how you do it. I accidentally did it yesterday and couldn't figure out how to do it again lol.
So my theory for Morpho Knight is that since he is always said to cast judgement on those he encounters. I think he is less of a villain or bad guy and more of a neutral party universe spanning being who seeks out large fluxes of raw power and locks them away or destroys them to keep the universe safe from insane power imbalance that could be universe ending.
which is another reason why I think he was always around kirby in the earliest games but only shows up for like the EX boss fights cause Kirby is ALWAYS a ticking timebomb of pure destruction. all of that infinite energy and power to destroy universes and eldritch gods is always within him at all times. he doesn't need to power up in order to obtain it like most of his other foes.
Kirby is simply always universe ending but since his power is so INSANELY great not even the one being (Morpho Knight) who is tasked with casting judgement can dispatch him or send him into a locked away area to keep the universe safe (or whatever the hell Morpho knight does to people when they poof away) from being with unfathomable power.
This is why Morpho Knight always seems to be neutral to both the bad guys and kirby cause during the moment he shows up Morpho Knight doesn't see an extremely powerful universe ending good guy fighting off and extremely powerful universe ending bad guy. He just sees 2 extremely powerful godlike individuals throwing their power about without a care for the universe at large and he must step in and shut them down because it's his job....now we just gotta find out who hired him and why he does all of this
So in conclusion, I believe that everytime Morpho Knight was seen in the earlier kirby games landing on kirby's head or whatever that was Morpho Knight trying to "cast judgement" or poof kirby away like he does with all the other powerful beings in the universe but he can't seem to do it because kirby's raw natural power surpasses even Morpho Knights and passively stops him from being poofed away
That's a really great theory. Their like a force or machine (I'm saying that in metaphor) that is tasked to keep the balance from being disrupted by powerful forces and eliminate those who causes it regardless if they're good or evil.

"Casting judgement" is interesting, since I've read about some tenuous details about Morpho Knight; namely that it might have a vague Valkyrie motif (going by the transliteration of its Japanese name). Additionally, butterflies in the context of Japanese mythology symbolize what souls become on their journey to the afterlife. (Again, another tenuous detail I read.)
I think I like Morpho Interruption better than Galacta Interruption. Not that Galacta isn't great, I just love seeing that butterfly pop in and say "no lol" to the most powerful entity in the area.

It's not passive, it requires you to land the final hit in the combo swing I think. Heals a little bit in normal, or if you go big, it heals a bit more

I think that fact that this sword has a lifesteal ability is somehow important to the lore.
Morpho knight is known for its ability to absorb the power and abilities others(hence why he has the ability to summon that head during the fight) so that’s probably it

The damage output is obscene. It can nearly one shot gorimondo with damage boost and upgraded. It can also chew through boss armor like it’s nothing. Boss armor is when a boss transitions between phases their defense increases immensely.
Its so broken and I love it.
Who doesn't want to play as a Boss against other bosses?
Its not really broken during gameplay cause you get it postgame but for the true arena, yes its broken

By guard and holding B you can charge up an attack that summons 2 fecto’s to help you. I recommend using it.

I love the dodge for this ability, its badass af. And oh yah, its pretty strong too

It also heals you as you fight so it's meant to be the final boss help/killer.
Ok let’s see, when you charge up the sword it becomes giant for about 20 seconds death tons of damage, you heal a bit when you attack, blocking and holding B will summon Fecto Forgo heads (The same one Morpho Knight summons) Blocking while IN the air and holding B will allow you to do this cool soundwave attack that Morpho Knight also does, and while full health You can sling projectiles from your sword, also your dodge is safer and faster but meh.
Additionally, if you have the hp boost from the item shop, you can fire projectiles until you're down to 1 health bar.
You might know this already, but morpho sword has another attack that uses the sound wave attack morpho knight uses.
Kirby is now be like: I was a god...but now...I AM A GOD WITH THE POWER OF OTHER GOD

From my personal experience it seems like I would say masked hammer is the strongest ability in the game not only does it's fully charge attack do as much damage if not more damage than morphoknighs swords fully charged attack if you hold the attack button right after dodging an attack you get fully charged almost instantaneously allowing you to do maximum damage pretty consistently. I do feel like it takes a bit more skill though because your main form of DPS is dodging and then charging but you can still do almost as much damage by just charging normally although based on how much slate game bosses move around you're probably not going to be able to hit much without dodging

i never thought i'd see something on a similar calibur to the master ability from allllll the way back to kirby and the amazing mirror.
granted, it doesn't have the ability to smash pegs, but its amazing.
Fun fact with morpho knight and meta knight copy abilities, if you use the double hp you can still fire out sword beams even if one of your health gauges isn't full. So long as you dont drop hp into the second gauge you will always have the sword beams.

Just your average day of Kirby doing his thing: Fighting Eldritch Evils like a total badass, but also somehow being adorable while doing it.
Odd how Morpho's sword also keeps the Forgo soul projection as one of its moves... Like, not even the grimaces from Star Allies, but specifically Forgo's soul...
Maybe like the kirby that butterfly can absorb other powers.
Like how he absorbed Galacta knight's body turning him into morpho knight, and has the forgo soul projectiles.
Maybe in a future 3d kirby game or dlc, if he absorbed another god and then we used morpho knight's sword we would be able to use one of "insert new villain" moves.

One thing that I think is pretty broken is gigan swords shield. It doesn’t make you lose health on block AT ALL. I tanked every hit from the final boss without a scratch ever because of it

@@catalyst539 1st of all, the Master Sword is apart of the LoZ series, which is an entirely different verse from Kirby, and 2nd of all, that’s really your own personal headcanon and sword beam wasn’t a thing in Adventure. They are referring to the fact that LoZ had the sword beam first

No actually, when you get the sword, you will still have the true arena to finish because you unlock both of them after you fight Morpho Knight

and masked hammer (the fire tornado attack)
With the Colosseum battle music, I get the feeling that maybe the next Smash installment might be a 3D one(something akin to Power Stones, One Piece Grand Battle Rush, or any 3D arena fighting games).
We might not even get another Smash Bros.
But if we do, 3D should be a separate mode while 2D is still the main focus of the game. Kirby Battle Royale wasn’t considered all that good for example
@@Murr248 1.) That’s a good idea, the 3D arena play style being it’s own separate mode. 2.) The worst part of Kirby Battle Royale is that stupid “Be the only player in a rocket” challenge even with the AI set low I still can’t accomplish it.

I wouldn't say invincibility. But it does a lot of damage and also heals you after a couple hits. Once charged it does even more damage 🤣
Don’t forget that U can dodge and U partially be invincible while at it.
Yes. It’s dodge can evade even attacks that normally can’t be evade. It is extremely OP. By far the most broken.
