Congrats on becoming the Ale Blazers! We can't wait to see your videos touring the breweries and see which ones to add to our list. Always love your videos.
Hope your 3 years becomes 33 years. Being able to build or repair things as you need to is a wonderful skill to have. I'm 70 now & seriously thinking about spending my remaining years on this beautiful planet just wandering around & enjoying everything that comes my way. I'm not ready to embark on such a journey just yet, so while I'm still where I am, I might see what I can do to add to my skill list. Happy travels.
Thank you so much for the nice comments. Yes we are a bit younger than 70 but we felt the same way, if you want to do something do something now because you never know how much longer you have. Do the research, do it while you can, enjoy life, you have all of our support.
@@CubbyVanLife thank you for your lovely words of encouragement and support. I live in Australia, only a mere 9000 + miles away from where you are living, but the internet and the lovely interaction it allows us to have with others gives a feeling of closeness that we wouldn't otherwise have. Very special indeed.
Congratulations on your 3rd year journey! Have fun! Keep posting adventures please. One recommendation: look into metal file cabinets for storage. They are lighter than wood and more durable than plastic…bon voyage
Probably not the UP, we’ve done it several times now. Anticipating doing the northern route through Canada above the lakes. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!
@@CubbyVanLife Oh have not seen all of your previous stuff yet. Will have to check it out. Still looking forward to the future trips. Sure it will be epic.👍 Cheers!
@@TeutonicNordwind the UP is one of our favorite parts of the country. I’ve shot a hundred hours of video ther but never posted it yet. The closest is our video on northern Wisconsin.
@@CubbyVanLife Thanks for the response. Haven't watched yet but saw one of your vids titled: "Visiting Copper Peak Ski Flying Facility in the UP" (??) The wife and I are born 'n bred Michiganders. In '90 we hiked the 42 or 43 miles of 'Pictured Rocks' from Grand Marais to Munising. We parked in Munising and hitched a ride with a cool Canadian tourist couple to Grand Marais. When we got back to Munising, all that was on the radio was that some Iraqi dictator named Hussein had invaded Kuwait.
@@TeutonicNordwind Grand Marais is really nice! A bit touristy for my liking but beautiful just the same. Went to the place that claims to have the best donuts in the world there. That was a Wednesday. They’re closed on Wednesday!

Thank you!
Such an adventure. And usually a mini history lesson as well. I'm there with you vicariously! Godspeed. ❤
Thanks so much! We’ll add more history in the next video.

Thanks for the tip!
Nice looking B190 in the background!
Awesome Glenn
Thanks Dwayne! Nice to hear from you. Hope all is well.
Hello, Glen, Nita. I met you today in Bucksport Maine. Thanks for all the advice about van life. Look fwd to watching your videos.
Thanks Chris. You gave us the inspiration to make a “Top 10 questions about Van life” video! Keep an eye for it.
It does look like a ghost town, or a movie set!
Yeah it was really interesting.
Announcing year three: we’re now the official Ale Blazers for @harvesthosts
Looking forward to the adventures, folks! Do you anticipate the Maine to Pacific NW being partially thru Canada and Michigan...maybe "da U.P."?

What is the delta weight from the wood to the plastic drawers? You mentioned the plastic are about 5lbs apiece…how much heavier was the wood?
I would guess the wood cabinet must have been around 125 lbs
