God bless you Viola, the sexualization, marginalization and expendability that society create around little black girls has to be addressed. We applaud you for your courage and selflessness in sharing.

It's the Hop Hop/Rap culture of both male and females. Look what haooened when black female artists finally starting to emerge. You don't get Billy Eilishes or Mariah Careys, you get Nicki Minaj* the name says enough. Megan the Stallion* another name and City Girls, Doja Cat list goes on.
She is one of the most talented and beautiful actors in the world. Her performances are absolutely stunning. I can’t believe anybody said she was ugly. Prejudices blind people without boundaries. Pure evil and envy…period. Her complexion is stunning in any beauty standards. Her persona demands attention and it was too much for people to handle. It is sickening that people can be that evil with an innocent child. I glad she raise above all of them,

America does NOT NEED oprah to pump up and put the spot light on Viola Davis! Ms. Davis is a fantastic, accomplished and exceptional actress in her own right! She is a joy to watch at her craft! Some of her in support of "politics" could use a tune up and re-eval tho.....
Oh wow...so powerful. Thank God for Viola Davis, her family, the ancestors, her story and her victorious mentality. My daughter is an aspiring actress and It's a blessing to offer to her Women like Viola Davis.

I absolutely love VIola's new book, "FInding Me", which I'm currently reading. It is a powerful story of sisterhood, of courage, and tenacity. She has opened my eyes to what it is like to be black, poor, and traumatized on a DAILY basis. She was a pretty child and grew into a beautiful woman. As difficult as her early beginnings were, she has self-actualized into a wise woman and role model for other young girls to look up to. Thank you Viola Davis for sharing your story! Jenny
Viola Davis is a Remarkable, Beautiful Woman and her authenticity make her even more Beautiful. She's a Great Actress and knows her Power in this Bias Field of Hollywood! Bravo to you Viola speak your Truth....your touching lives in positive ways that have similar stories like your own!
I find Viola strikingly beautiful. It is sad to hear that she had been bullied most of her life to think otherwise. When we are young, we believe everything, especially other people’s opinions about ourselves. We are so vulnerable. We carry that the rest of our lives and it takes so much to spit it out of our system.
Oprah you need to do an interview PLEASE WITH VIOLA DAVIS so that it won't be so many interruptions. I like how you watch and listen intently to Viola Davis as we all are doing. I will get the book!
I mean, wow, wow, wow, "FINDING ME" is just "shockingly" mesmerising. This book is gold, and it takes us on a journey that we all can relate to to some degree, with every turn of each page involving us with an "appalling" truth being served to a courageous, creative and beautiful woman and her family. Viola Davis is an extraordinary spirit and human, so intense with her strong voice that one has to stop and listen. Between many tears cascading down my face and a sense of relief that she's ok now and that she found triumph, I just wanted to hug her and say, I am so sorry you had to endure all that. I can relate to some of your stories because I grew up in poverty too, but not to the extent you had to go through. And I've learned that failure has been my great success because I kept getting up and going. So thank you 🙏 For sharing your story.

To be told as a little girl that you are ugly and all those derogatory words, can be very damaging for a little girl. Sorry Viola, that that happened to you. Forgive them for they know not what they were doing. Release them... You are a phenomenal woman!
Viola you are a wonderful, beautiful, GOD gifted, talented actress!!! You are very skilled at your art!!!!! Your portrayals are raw, real, always befitting, you are totally in character for each of her roles. I read your earthy memoir, I totally related to your childhood, thank you for sharing your story/your beautiful art!!!!
but you are beautiful. stunning. congratulations on the book. your story must be heard. looking forward to your book. im not African American. but you're an inspiration to us all.
Between Lisa Leslie, R Kelly, Monique, Bill Cosby and Russell Simmons...I'm done with Oprah and Gayle. But I enjoyed watching Viola talk about her experiences. 💞❤️
Welllll.. Ms Gail commented.. Ooooh they finally got some Color... When i welcomed them to Lanseria Airport.. In SA.. Gail said I am pretty.. And i believed her
Amazing! But it will not work for 98% of the audience but you yourself know that. The fact is that Tolle's "Pain Body" turns out to have a physical body too, which works reflexively, automatically and constantly! You must discover it in yourself first!>
If my neighbor was Oprah she would want me to read "The Kid Gallagher Story ". This is not your typical read. Need a book to read on your next flight to Santa Barbara, this is it!
Man, Oprah living that soft life in her Hawaii estate is wonderful to see. She like so many accomplished Black woman, regardless of wealth or fame status, she is her ancestors' wildest dream.
First Viola starts off talking about colorism then she switches to beauty and attractiveness. I'm a little older than she is and let's face it, attractiveness AND unattractiveness comes in all shades. Everyone is not born 'pretty' so can we stop attributing it to skintone. Being poor can also factor into it. She talks about internalizing what those boys told her but what did her parents tell her other than to beat those boys up. Did THEY teach her about the richness and beauty of her complexion. THAT would have made a huge difference.
Viola's a brilliant actor, one of the best 'if not thee best' in many many decades I'd say. So, she'd do well to steer clear of Oprah. She's nothing more than an opportunist who uses other people's fame and platform to elevate her notoriety. If viola were as great as she is, but not as admired or well known... Oprah wouldn't touch her!
Black ppl living in Amerikkka has been extremely detrimental to them psychologically, physically, socially, spiritually, and financially. The Exodus that started in 2019 needs to ramp up in 2022.
Viola Davis is a phenomenal woman. My eyes will be glued to the book. CBS Mornings, Thanks for sharing!
I'll definitely be reading this memoir. Viola Davis has inspired me for years.

So glad she can speak DIRECTLY to dark skinned girls, so REAL..honest and delightful. Go Viola!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Viola's book next on my reading list
Love viola! Can’t wait to get this book 🤎
We're never as strong, as we are until we have to be. Never Do as much, unless the need we see. Only give our best, when we fail at mediocrity. We Love rather than hate when we admit we're one humanity. We always give more, when compassion moves our heart with unbridled generosity. We Become more of our potential when we are made to see, that clearly our minds can believe in unfathomable possibilities, while seizing every opportunity, here in lies one's destiny. More than our scars, higher than our stars, for in our flaws are what defines our features, they're uniquely ours, as human creatures.
We can run faster than on our slowest day. Reason better, and thinking it through all the way, regardless which direction our emotions may sway. We can find our voice when speechless, our strong words with meekness and our Courage in weakness. Always patience not quickness. Silence for peace than loudness, quietness of fear, not hopeless, for time and effort are equally unbiased. We are more than the stories we're told, we're the one's we write, each page unfold. We are the sum of our Lies and truth, fantasy, fiction, faith, and myths, no matter how uncouth. These are what shape us, our lives lived is the proof. We can be more right than wrong. More just than judge. More godlike than unlike. Reflecting Sunlight in our darkest night.
Providing refuge. Never more alive until we die within and begin again. A Human Ark Divine in our human spark.

America does NOT NEED oprah to pump up and put the spot light on Viola Davis! Ms. Davis is a fantastic, accomplished and exceptional actress in her own right! She is a joy to watch at her craft! Some of her in support of "politics" could use a tune up and re-eval tho.....
Maybe...but very much appreciated Oprah...now I have seen it
Thank you for selecting this memoir. I would love more books like this in future book club selections
Can't wait to read her book! ❤️ Viola!
"I think if you risk not, you live not..."--Viola Davis (2022)
Oh wow...so powerful. Thank God for Viola Davis, her family, the ancestors, her story and her victorious mentality. My daughter is an aspiring actress and It's a blessing to offer to her Women like Viola Davis.
Just makes me cry. Makes me really sad. I am glad she came out of it and I pray she keeps thriving 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
isn't just what you do but what you don't do. Not just what you did but how you did it. Not just what you said but how you said it. Love is so simple yet the simple make it so hard. Love Is full of knowledge yet even the smart don't get it. Love doesn't cost a fortune yet fortunes are spent trying to gain it. Love does demand of you yet you are not willing to sacrifice for it. Those who only seek what love can give and do for them, do nothing for love and others and in such selfish pursuit, in turn rob themselves of love's best gift. Make this year the year you seek to sow love and not just reap it. Be love and not just think it. Do love and not just say it. Talk love and just don't fake it. Seek love and just don't chase it. Embrace it but don't enslave it, share it but don't dare boast in it. Enjoy it but don't abuse it. Free it and watch it come back. Invest in it and watch it pay back. Wash your life in it, light your darkness with it, eat your food with it conduct your business with it and above all else Serve God in it. For whatever love is and is not, it's all of, for and From Him. He is LOVE! "

Yes! That book cover is everything!
Jenny
Viola Davis- what a beautiful ~brilliant person!! I can listen to you all day.❤️
cant wait to read it
Viola Davis is a Remarkable, Beautiful Woman and her authenticity make her even more Beautiful. She's a Great Actress and knows her Power in this Bias Field of Hollywood! Bravo to you Viola speak your Truth....your touching lives in positive ways that have similar stories like your own!
Absolutely love this Woman!😍😍😍I'm obsessed with the Book! Literally is my Childhood historia.!Very similar just with a Different END!💟💟
Viola is one of a kind ❤️
YEP , There's no winning without risking!!!
Absolutely right !! 👍
I’m ordering Viola’s book ASAP. Thanks Viola and you too Oprah!!
Viola is so incredible. I'm on my knees with you Gail lol.
I’m a huge fan of viola Davis 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I find Viola strikingly beautiful. It is sad to hear that she had been bullied most of her life to think otherwise. When we are young, we believe everything, especially other people’s opinions about ourselves. We are so vulnerable. We carry that the rest of our lives and it takes so much to spit it out of our system.
Violas book also has an audio version and she might just get to EGOT status for this !! 😍👏
" if you risk not you live not" wow
She's beautiful, smart, eloquent 😊 Love you from Poland, V! 🥰
This is awesome!!!!! I am ordering the book asap.
Saw the interview on Netflix, and can't wait to read the book.
Oprah you need to do an interview PLEASE WITH VIOLA DAVIS so that it won't be so many interruptions. I like how you watch and listen intently to Viola Davis as we all are doing. I will get the book!
She did, it's on Netflix.
@@JackieForte Thanks
Viola you have so proved those bullies WRONG!! Which they were. Hugs!!
We now need a Viola Davis book club.
Viola's hair is what is calling my name
❤️ you Viola Davis
Beautiful one
An interview within an interview…..only her Majesty Oprah Winfrey could do this and have people intrigued to watch👸🏽👏🏽

To be told as a little girl that you are ugly and all those derogatory words, can be very damaging for a little girl. Sorry Viola, that that happened to you. Forgive them for they know not what they were doing. Release them...
You are a phenomenal woman!
What a woman!!!
Ugly? They must have not looked at her eyes. EVER…???? Love her spirit ❤️.
So excited for this!!!
Viola I love you so very much. Thank you so much.
Viola, estou no Brasil 🇧🇷 te assistindo. Você é maravilhosa!❤ I Love you
I cant wait to hear Super Soul Sunday with Viola and read the book.
Such a pretty hair,Viola Davis
Viola could play Oprah. Love them both.
In jamaica that is one on the biggest thing to your success. If you black stay back if you brown stick around and if you white you alright
I loveee viola and i started her book and i love her book
I love Viola. I am gonna order her book.
I love This video 🧡🧡🧡 I’ll buy this book for my June read!
but you are beautiful. stunning. congratulations on the book. your story must be heard. looking forward to your book. im not African American. but you're an inspiration to us all.
And i believed her
I love Viola Davis ❤️ but I really wish Oprah would let her finish her sentences 🤦🏽♀️ I have waited to long for this transparency
Do Oprah and Viola Davis know they have each other's voice and same way of speaking?
This is my story to the T... Or V for Viola... Or G for Gail oooooor even... OOOOO FOR OPRAH
Man, Oprah living that soft life in her Hawaii estate is wonderful to see. She like so many accomplished Black woman, regardless of wealth or fame status, she is her ancestors' wildest dream.
Love viola❤️🙏🏽
🖤
Brave girls 💋 👏🏻
Have audio, she narrates, compelling!
So I gotta get the audible and the physical.
Oprah wouldn't touch her!
oh i used to love to read but i haven't picked up a book in 7 years since i am so busy doing other things.
maybe try audiobooks? they have helped me tremendously.
The Serif though 😍
Gayle! WHERE DO WE ORDER YOUR SHIRT???!!!
💕💕💕💕🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Viola Davis is a great woman, actress, wife, and she embodies black beauty!! I enjoyed hearing her story!!! Thank you!!
❤️❤️❤️
Black ppl living in Amerikkka has been extremely detrimental to them psychologically, physically, socially, spiritually, and financially. The Exodus that started in 2019 needs to ramp up in 2022.
