I agree with the officer. His son was in the car and Dad's taking the rap for his son's Meth. Shame on the son! This Dad is in complete denial to say his son only smokes weed after he's been arrested with meth. Either that or it really is Dad's meth.
That poor man loved his son to a fault. Enabling him is done out of ignorance by thinking he is helping him. But it just prolongs his behavior and the son will continue to bring trouble and heartache to the family unless the family stops tolerating his bs.

@@Bert_de_Wit that doesn’t do the son any favors and typically it doesn’t help anything to change, it’s not likely that the dad taking the charge for his son will be a wake up call for the son. He’ll just get in trouble for the same or similar thing again.

That father, what a guy! He is the epitome of someone who loves his family. It's so touching and I hope his son reads this and is able to turn his life around knowing that this man would do anything to protect him.
It's still so wrong though.. there is a lesson to be learnt there and it ain't happening with Dad behind bars.
Good example of bad luck if this is true. He doesn't seem like the type. I hope he got out quickly and is keeping his head up now. :P Weed is the best only smoke weed haha! Get pulled over with that some cops might just confiscate it and send u on ur way if you're very lucky. :D

Ide say he probably has a long history himself back in the day, that or he's just lost his mind with whole dealing with it. He doesn't seem to be very stable to me.

Is there an update as to what happened to the father after...so wrong when the cops know the meth didn’t belong to him.
It's so sad that people turn to alcohol & drugs for comfort.
I did, my fiance passed away in March of 2019. I couldn't cope with the loss of him so drown myself in alcohol (not drugs) to numb the pain. Once I got myself into intense grief therapy and I finally saw the the light at the end of the tunnel. My grief therapist provided me with other tools to cope with the pain. I'll be 2 years sober this June.

When the guy that was crossfaded calmed down he looked like a zombie. I can’t imagine wanting to feel like that. Yike. Also I have an aunt like the guy who covered for his son. My cousin is a complete narcissist and regardless of what she puts her mother through, as long as she gets what she wants, she doesn’t care about what happens to her mother.
