Sorry the music is kinda overbearing, especially on mobile. it sounded fine in the editing booth, but it obviously wasn't. I need to get some reference headphones. Also, Kiyomi Hirano's stage name was Rio Akimoto, not Rin Akimoto, that was a typo.
This has been something that's been on my mind whenever I've watched Gaijin Baseball's excellent videos. The 'Sky Sports' clips seen here use the same logo the UK version of Sky used in the 1990s. I'd be interested to know if there was a Japanese sports channel that had acquired rights to the Sky Sports name and branding at the time - I'm fairly confident that NPB wasn't televised on Sky in Britain during its early years.
I noticed in clips his number switched between 3 and 57. Is that simply what clips were available or did he switch numbers multiple times? If so, why did he switch back to 57?

Love the video
Great video.
This video made me wonder if Ken was on the OB team in power pros, and he was. His stats and abilities seem pretty accurate imo.
Yo why was Sky Sports showing that old NPB footage though haha
