One help with curved corner pockets is to run a few inches of basting around the curve, makes it easy, then a cardboard or heavier than paper, a copy of the pocket. If you like the pocket, I also keep a file of pockets I like, I do this for collar edges too. FWIW.
Super super cute! When I install elastic the way you did on your pants, I stitch in the ditch in the side seams and I stitch in the elastic on the center back and center front if it isn’t obvious.
