I will say hobby lobby does have nice stuff but they are also not a good company. They have gotten in trouble for not providing contraceptives to employees, illegally smuggling cuneiform tablets in 2009 for some reason, and being extremely anti-LGBTQ. The owner also funds anti-LGBTQ groups personally. Just so you're aware! I feel like isn't talked about enough and people shop there like its another big chain when its really blatantly hurting people

One help with curved corner pockets is to run a few inches of basting around the curve, makes it easy, then a cardboard or heavier than paper, a copy of the pocket. If you like the pocket, I also keep a file of pockets I like, I do this for collar edges too. FWIW.

The camo would look great for your son! Be sure to serge all seams as wovens will fray, unlik knits! That glitter pink is GORRRRGEOUSSSS! I can picture a fitted tank with bell sleeves! You definitely have great taste!!! Have fun sewing! 😘🥰😍

I enjoy your videos. Consider a knit fabric with a large scale print for the pattern with the blue dress. Due to it having side seams only, it’s perfect to show off a bold print.

If you iron your pattern pieces after use, they fit in the package better

Super super cute! When I install elastic the way you did on your pants, I stitch in the ditch in the side seams and I stitch in the elastic on the center back and center front if it isn’t obvious. The simplicity pattern with the cardigan, tank and skirt is EVERYTHING!! I’ve made the whole pattern. I did slim the sleeves.Thank you for sharing! ❤ Wait, what?!?! Your first time at Hobby Lobby! 🤯. Love how it came out! Great costume and everyday wear. Also I think the 1 hour for sewing patterns is just for sewing time not the whole thing. I think prep time takes waaaay longer than sewing time.

I like mystery bundles. Sadly Girl Charlee went out of business and they had a lot of bundles. Fabric Mart bought up their stock, so I'm suspecting a lot of the bundles will be knits for a while. Yours isn't girl charlee though. I think a shirtwaist would look goo's w the flowers and a boxy shirt for your table cloth.

The bundles are fun to watch. I probably won't ever get one though. It seems like they all have black and/or white. I look awful in both of those colors.

Happy birthday! Your dress is lovely! I made that pattern last year and I share similar frustrations. I like how mine came out but I wouldn’t make it again because of how cumbersome the placket and curves are. I thought I was gonna whip it up in no time but I was wrong. Tfs!
