This concludes my wedding vlog series. Thank you for watching! Joel & I went on a carnival cruise for our honeymoon Feb. 18-21st. I plan to do some sit down videos discussing more of our relationship, wedding journey, etc... pray & slay y'all + say wassup to me in the comments!
I'm a pastor. I heard about your wedding. I want to say 'Thank you'! The wedding industry has gotten out of control. Couples put off getting married because they are saving for an extravaganza they feel they have to put on. They should put that money for a down payment on a house. Thank you for showing you can have a joyful celebration without breaking the bank. I hope you start a trend. The wedding shouldn't overshadow the marriage.
I doubt that and many people have cheap weddings. The propaganda station said it was viral and I don’t see what’s the big deal or why it would be viral when it’s actually quite common! No venues were allowing weddings for like two years because of Pfizer sponsored pandemic restrictions that is unlawful and nobody in government can just give themselves emergency powers over the people. It’s unconstitutional and you got to be a real fool to believe in that.
Thank you for your kind words Pastor. I believe Anthony Oniel talked about you in his video if I’m not mistaken. I agree with you. Many believers are holding off on getting married bcus they think they cannot afford it. And we hope to be an example that you can definitely make it happen. We weren’t allowing lack of material to stop us from obeying God and he provided through our friends and family to make our wedding day, celebration and honey moon happen! All glory goes to Him. God is sending a message through us! We’re just willing and submitted servants!

@KBark I just know you're going to be a GREAT gift to this man! Your attitude about "stuff" is phenomenal. You like nice things and all, but you weren't trying to break your mate just to have them. THIS is what a "help mate" is all about. i just love how you talk to him, talk of your union, etc! You really need to start a podcast girl. i know you JUST got married, but you obviously learned alot when you allowed yourself to be courted.
I just saw the story in the news about your budget dress and wedding and wanted to say you are to be commended not only for being able to get the wedding you wanted within your budget but for also having the public courage to do it proudly and let other young couples know that they don't have to strap themselves to have a special day. Congrats to you and your husband, both of you looked great. I hope you have a great life and I hope the money you saved helps you buy a home you can spend a happy life in. Bravo!

with a wife like her, he will ( or should) NEVER be broke! Physically, emotionally, nor financially! It takes a really special and unselfish person to help their mate work within a budget for such a special occasion. Usually these expenses are what causes that newlywed couple to start off on the wrong financial foot;. if it aint the cost of her ring... because he usually just gets some modest band. Some women be requiring him to spend a year or two's salary on their FIRST diamond!!! Leave some room for that ring to graduate in the coming years and anniversaries....unless you go in planning to not have many future anniversaries so you try getting it all upfront...ijs

My FAVORITE kind of vacation is CRUISING! I haven’t cruised since May 2019(pre pandemic)… and I’m going through withdrawals!😩 They’ve been canceled and rebooked numerous times. Next cruise is November 2022, if the Lord says the same.😌♥️ Until then, I’ll continue to vacation and live vicariously through everyone else. 😅
Girl cruises are EVERYTHING! I love them too! 😜 this was my first cruise since the pandemic and I loved it! Can’t wait until my next one. Hopefully everything works for you in November! 🙏🏾
