Great tutorial! Thanks so much. ... I agree, a tutorial on ears would be very helpful.
Thank you! I will definitely work on an ear tutorial video.👍✌️
Excellent whittling! I really like your style.

Thank you, much appreciated! 👍✌
thankyou i think your tutorials are awesome i was wondering if you plan on doing a videos of cartoon ears for example elf ears or big ears?
Thank you! Yes absolutely, different ear styles are something I will work on. 👍✌
These have been really great tutorials! Thanks for sharing your talent. It's fun the different expressions you can convey with the mouth.
Thank you Stephen, as always much appreciated! 👍✌
Thanks for the tips! I like how you show the end of the lower lip getting thinner at the corner of the mouth! I feel the same way about spending time sharpening gouges!
Thank you! Ooohhh sharpening the v-gouge, that will test you patients 😉👍✌
Thank again for an excellent video. I've been watching them for years. You have helped me improve my whittling skills.
I really appreciate that! Thank you. 👍✌️
I concur about your style. You are a talented person!

thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills ,,i have learnt a lot in just this video ,yes it would be call if you showed how to add the other facial features ,though i am a dremel carver what you showed can be still used using a dremel ,thanks again mate
Thank you much appreciated. I own Foredom and Ram power tools, you can do some great carvings with a rotary tool, especially in the harder woods! 👍✌
Merci bcp pour vos videos
De rien! 👍✌
Thanks for taking the time to show us how you do things. You're a fantastic teacher.
Very much appreciated. Thank you! 👍✌
Thank you very much for showing us these different ways to carve a mouth, this was a very good lesson on how to carve a mouth!
Thank you, I am glad you found it helpful! 👍✌
Thank you for sharing. I found it very helpful. I feel more confident trying an open mouth carving now.
I am happy it was helpful. Thank you very much! 👍✌
Great stuff. Really helpful to break down the different features.
💖👍✌
A whittling accident won’t ever end a woodworking career but a woodworking accident can ruin a whittling career in a hurry
So true . . . some of my favorite whittles were due to "happy" accidents (to quote Bob Ross). 👍✌
Where did you learn to carve. Are you self-taught did you take classes read books watch videos Or all of the above. Good job on the video.
I started whittling about 20+ years ago. RUclips wasn't around, so I picked up a couple books/magazines and started "chopping" wood. Thanks very much! 👍✌

I didn't grow up with RUclips either. I will turn 65 in a couple of months. I've been trying my hand at this carving for a couple years now and I still have problems. You can tell what it is but it's a little choppy. 😂
@shoey64 @shoey64 I turned 60 a few months back. If you look at the demographic RUclips lists for my "audience," 75% are over 55! I guess us "old folks" know a good thing when we find it.😉 The best advice I have for learning to whittle is to stick with just one or two straight knives and practice rounding out squared off pieces of wood, then learn to use the knife to do what a V gouge does on the rounded wood.👍✌️

Thanks 👍.
19:32 Bottom Lip - Why is this step so hard?! 😁
When I mess up, it is always the bottom lip😬. Thank you!👍✌️
