Easy solution to the ambient lighting Steve - if the video is about luminosity masking, the light could be white, if it's about processing a sunset , orange, blue for a seascape, green for forests/meadows and er .... red ... for content about your last ahem... 'workshop' in Amsterdam.
I really liked the green and the other greeny green or the blue. You are too funny about Amsterdam but I do understand how you don't want to be misunderstood regarding your comments.

Thumbs up for the turquoise (?) colour that was used throughout the video. My second choice would be the orange. Thanks for the video too - some very useful insight into shutter times.
Thanks for the video. Keep them coming please :) I have a couple of suggestions for future videos. Your sond would greatly benefit from some sound deadening. Its a bit to much acoustic now. Would be nice with at text overlay with Exif-info on the images you show us. Very much to learn from seeing what others choose in shutter, aperature, ISO, color temp and so on. Text overlay is a very nice help here. And yes,,, go orange :)
Thanks for your suggestions! I did have an un-noticed audio issue, the lav mic I was using was pointing in the wrong directoin so it wasn't as clean as it should be. However, you're right, some further deadening would greatly improve things. Thanks again!
I haven't tried this way of photographing water, I definitely will now. Thanks for the video. As for the lights, I liked the orange for the ambience with the lamp behind you. The red would have gone with your chair (Amsterdam or not). My suggestion would be to switch them up according to the topic or with the colour of the shirt you happen to wear.
Thanks Derek, good point about affecting the editing. I almost always edit in a blacked out room (the roller shutters on the windows are great for that - a lucky accident because they just happened to be here when we moved in).
Thanks for watching! If you saw all the way to the end, let me know which colour(s) work best with a comment below :-)
Orange lighting looks best :) Thanks for your video tutorials!
Green...with a bit of blue...thanks for the video!
Orange mate, for me in landscape photography orange is very appealing and it just gives your background a nice soft glow 👍

Orange is the best colour thanks for taking the time to make the video
Awesome, thanks for your suggestion - it's looking like it'll be orange so far! :D
Orange is nice but so is green, I think orange has the edge though. Great video by the way.
Thanks Ian, much appreciated!

Liked the Orange did work in with light inbackground, do you see any effect on your computer screen by changing colours?
Greeny colours. Maybe next time use a Sydney reference?Sorry for cheeky comment.

Thanks Agi! let me know how you get on trying this technique :D
Orange was my least favorite. I preferred the softer colors of green, blue and purple. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for your input Marguerite! 😃
Good video, thanks for the info. Orange is the colour :)
Cheers Stephen!
Some nice pics. Thanks for the shutter speed tips. Your right about the orange light for that room as is. Good video quality also. Happy shooting.
Thanks Ted!
Really like the new look, you're giving the room and I appreciate your video tutorials :)
Thanks very much :-)
it will depend on your own mood which colour suits best.as long as it does not mess with your eyes and start affecting the colours in your editing

Yep, definitely orange for me. Great video as always!
Cheers Bob, noted! Orange definitely seems to be a favourite so far :D
Hi Steve, Orange gets my vote! Enjoyed the video
Awesome, thanks for your vote!
Green is calming so I like it best. Thanks Steve!
Orange is least distracting light colour IMHO. Loved the coastal shot with the water pouring off the rocks.
Thanks Chris! :-)
