@@fredwilson1188 Yeah but Ned playing Librizzi was basically like a small cameo in 3 episodes. As Charlie Glide he could really showcase his talent. Even Frank Mosca got more episodes.
Eisenberg should’ve never played Librizzi. Mann should’ve hired someone like Frank Vincent for Librizzi and kept Eisenberg only for the role of Charlie Glide
@@ewanward-thomas7545 But in the episode "Lombard" the core story is about a young man taking over as the boss as his father dies and Al Lombard played by Dennis farina feels uncomfortable taking orders from a man much younger than him.
"What do I think? I think it's cops trying to put the slide on Charlie Glide." :-) Charlie Glide was a cool ass villain. I wish they would have had him in more episodes. Miami Vice tops all Crime/Drama series on television today... Even after all these years.
There will always be something about this show that separates from everything else, and it will never be like this again. It could also be I was lucky to be of the age to witness it all live.
The part where Crockett is pulling up in the Scarab with Charlie Glide is freaking awesome! -Glide mocking Tubbs, "Don't make me laff, Mon. I stay away from the bad thing" cracks me up every time!!
Its abandoned. Fenced off, graffiti everywhere. But still untouched other than vandalism, from this period..Id love to go and check it out..supposedly there is movement to restore it. But not enough $$.
I was so happy to see Ned again in the 5th season in The Lost Madonna after not seeing him for some time except for cameos as Librizzi whenever Lombard popped up.
You should make video of in MiamiVice he play like four different roles in Miami Vice. This one one ,with Lombard I think it was the second one with Lombard. , one in lost Madonna RIP. Ned
Charlie Glide easily one of the top 5 villains in the series, along with Mosca, Hackman, Maynard (Capt. Real Estate) and Calderone(s). Can't count Al Lombard because he was too sympathetic. Surf from "Bushido" could drive a car with his feet. But these other guys were too smart, too sadistic, or both.
I think Clarence Williams the third as legba was also a great villain they should not have killed legba off in one episode they should have like brought him back to have a final showdown with Ricardo Tubbs and Sonny
The series title and the characters shouting "Miami vice!" is factually incorrect, as the police agency Crockett and Tubbs they are working for at the time was the Metro-Dade Police Department, not the Miami Police Department. If you look at their badges, they clearly say Metro-Dade Police Department. Dade County, unlike every other county in Florida, is a metropolitan area and the MDPD handled countywide law enforcement like a sheriff's office would elsewhere in the state. A number of years later a vote was taken and the county's name was changed from Dade to Miami-Dade to in theory make it more recognizable as being the Miami area. Similarly, the term "Miami Vice" was used since the characters shouting "Metro-Dade vice!" would be cumbersome and difficult for the average viewer to associate the show with Miami.
This show ha dthe greatest soundtrack of all time.
Facts
You won RUclips today, Sir. 😎
That ambiance sound really gives you an one on one look of Miami in the 1980s!!!!!!
Its definitely badass
This song especially is madness 🔥
One of the most chill villains in the show.
'The trial and the search', my number 1 favorite track of the series.
That and the "payback" track
@@vettafaene Don't forget the El Viejo & Texas Ranger ones. And Colombia from Season 2.
I love this show!! I always will. They have never been able to come close to the magic of this show! Period.
Best of times as a kid favorite show of all time
Miami Vice at its absolute finest! Brilliant scene from a brilliant episode. "You're changing the rules Crockett....you're changing the rules"......
It still feels like I’m 9 years old, watching this again. Thank god i got to be a kid in the 80’s!
Years later, Charlie Glide becomes a New York Defense Attorney, going toe to toe with Manhattan SVU.
my favorite one word quote. "Let's" too awesome
My favorite is "Feds".
My favorite one word quote in Miami Vice is when Sonny says "Wrooooooong...".
Charlie Glide was too cool for school. Too bad he wasn't a recurring bad guy.
that actor was recurring at least

Charlie Glide aka Ned Eisenberg just died last month of cancer. RIP.
There will always be something about this show that separates from everything else, and it will never be like this again. It could also be I was lucky to be of the age to witness it all live.
1:20 Good artistry there with my favorite Wellcraft.
One of the smoothest bad guys on MV, the great Charlie Glide......

Miami Marine Stadium back in the day. They use to have concerts on the water and Hydroplane Boats use to race in there also. Perfect scenery

One of the best villians in the history of the show
if all else fails making a deal with Glide, it's always handy to keep some bolt cutters in the trunk. Ask Tony Soprano
They finally put the slide on charlie glide. 😁
RIP Ned Eisenberg.
wonderful scene
Marvelous. A great tribute to Ned, and his hair (while he still had it)...It was gone by the time I met him.
Best show of ALL time. Still watch it till this day.
RIP NED EISENBERG
RIP Ned.

The music.
Best tv show ever made 😊
"FEDS"(smirks)
Looks like somebody is trying to put the slide ... on Charlie Glide ;)
Dude would become a recurring lawyer in the L&O series
Yeah, I'm rockin', thanks.
Rip Ned
I still use that line to this day whenever the subject of cocaine or other hard drugs is brought up around me.
“I stay away from the bad thang.”
Charlie Glide is one of my favourite Vice characters.
silk shirt silk blazer! 80's!
"Someone's trying to put the slide on Charlie Glide".
The bad guys know when the jig is up. Then, they want to play let's make a deal. They must have thought Crockett is Monte Hall.
See this actor everywhere, finally know his name! I'm great at faces and suck with names, until I manage to memorize them.
Ned Eisenberg is his name. He played 3 different characters on Vice actually.
Charlie Glide practically any RUclipsr
I like Crockett's jacket here

I wouldn't make a deal with Charlie Glide..,
Let's make a DEAL!
He was referring to Monte Hall. I don't know if he could have said his name though. Maybe it was a copyright issue.
