He said it with authority. I know it's scripted to a degree but the key phrase was "that's what we can pay". Corey and the others grovel and ruffle their brow as if they're being deliberately conservative with their offers, and it makes the seller feel they can push the limit.
When this series first started. I knew some of the experts. Later I actually met those Pawn Star guys when they stayed at the same hotel as I did in Biloxi. The crazy thing is some of that odd stuff that would come in. I would have some of it too. I still have most of my collection.
Think about what it would be like if the store couldn't call anyone in to check the things out. Their business wouldn't be near the same. I love this show. Never gets old watching it. 💯✌
"no it's not, that's what we can pay." that translates into "that's all you're getting and not a penny more. And if you try to bump me again, we're done...
geesh why is it when they say its worth 30-40k why would you offer 22k?? crazy id keep them till I found a private buyer first or auction stand start the auction at 35k
Because you will be looking for a long long time. And you never should start a bid at the price you want. You start it low with a reserve In place. They offer low prices because they have to pay to advertise, store and care for it if need be.
The first guy they never really show his face because his nose is collapsed. The reason for that is so much cocaine he has done over the years busted his sinus cavities. Ask Artie Lange about that.
I don't know how true this for I only heard some else in the comment section say it but they say the producers comb sites like Craig's List and invite people with something interesting to sell to come and try and make a deal
Why on Earth would ANYONE take something really valuable to a pawn shop to sell it unless they're desperate? Unless it's all a big setup... to make a tv show that people will watch for many, many years...👍

Seller: 1600 is a little low

@@coffeelink943 Of course he was. He is the old man

Old Man: No it's not.
Person: You're right.
That type of stuff is so cool.
That’s what you watch for.
The actual History.
Nothing beats the Cajun Pawn Stars currency episode
For a second I thought the first customer was the second expert 😂
Me to lol
Has anyone noticed background music is the same as always sunny in Philadelphia
i was hoping someone else noticed
😂
Spongebob
Was hoping to find this comment - this cracks me up. It’s royalty-free music, which is why Sunny and Pawnstars can both use it. Two great shows!
Yeah Rob McElhenny made the pilot on a tiny budget so he used royalty free music. Pretty awesome that they kept using it I reckon
The old man at the end😄. "No it's not"
Every Pawn Stars episode ever:
“Hmm, I’d like to call someone in ..”
Lol
That's business for you
When this series first started. I knew some of the experts. Later I actually met those Pawn Star guys when they stayed at the same hotel as I did in Biloxi. The crazy thing is some of that odd stuff that would come in. I would have some of it too. I still have most of my collection.
"1600 is a little low"
"No it's not. It's what we can pay'
I like that guy
"How much do you want for this $30 bill?"
*30 bucks*
Rick's dad just knows how to do business lol
Can't help but think Chum dropped the ball on the 30, even at 25k.
Think about what it would be like if the store couldn't call anyone in to check the things out. Their business wouldn't be near the same. I love this show. Never gets old watching it. 💯✌
I love the Old Man, He'll be greatly missed.
Nice to see the Old Man!

Pops no its not, its what we can Pay. Rip to the old man
Someone should straight up bring in a dollar bill for a dollar bill
First guy looks like he owes someone some major mulah. Seems to me he’s been punched in the nose a few times. It is Vegas after all.
cocaine abuse
Probably has kidney problems. Gary Coleman had cheeks like that too.
Looks like he got kicked in the nose by a horse
He always tells the truth....
It's always sunny in Las Vegas
Quinn Elizabeth is also living person on new Zeland banknotes

Chumlee wanted that 18000$ profit lol

Did he really buy the 5$ NZD bill without even checking the signature 😂
It’s always sunny sound track ?
there clearly running out of episodes
That’s actually 4.2 bills not 3
Is that Rick's younger brother with the torn D.B Cooper money?
I miss the old man
where did the seller get this bill from?
He must snort a lot of coke. His nose is collapsed
I think he snorts Flakka
Lmao why do they use the always sunny in philly theme for the 30 dollar bill?
$20/$10 when u think about it would be $15, not $30. 😬
Isn't this the same guy with the Titanic coin?
I have old stamps from Germany...pls help me how to sale....

1800 is the lowest i can go...ok i'll take 1500😁😁😁
How funny that you could buy money from someone so they can get paid and have more money for themselves. Like I know it's rare Bill's and all but wow.
Rare

The first guy they never really show his face because his nose is collapsed. The reason for that is so much cocaine he has done over the years busted his sinus cavities. Ask Artie Lange about that.
I swear this pawn shop is so fake just TV entertainment who just pops out with thousands and thousands
So fake, no one with money like that goes to a pawn shop to sell.
I don't know how true this for I only heard some else in the comment section say it but they say the producers comb sites like Craig's List and invite people with something interesting to sell to come and try and make a deal

Hows chum gunna pass on a 15-20k profit from a $30 bill??!!
That's not a 30 bill considering you don't add together both sides of a bill. Theoretically you could call it a 15 dollar bill.
Wow!
That’s why you don’t give girls money. Right there. Pinned it up on a cork board? WHAT!!!! Who let that happen
How about 1928 one million dollar bill...
I just hate the face on the seller.
