Hi i am planning to Buy Huawei GT 2, but have checked in revenues that Huawei has App issue and Watch has Bluetooth communication issue with mobile due to which it doesn't show notifications and sys is also not done automatic. I am using Oppo F7 and going to update for MI or Samsung phone, so are this compatible with Huawei?
I never had issues with notifications when the watch is connected. Yes, the sync may not ne automatic. Any Android phone is compatible with this watch, and even iPhones.

I know there's a lock button for the screen, but if I press the top button while working out it will paise the workout.

Can you confirm if there is such thing or not, since this is a deal breaker for me and i only need directions shown on the watch even if i have to have my phone on me to work
If you need a smarter watch, it's Watch Active 2. It's better if you have a Samsung phone. If you need more battery life and/or have a Huawei phone. However, I would recommend to look at TicWatch Pro 3. It's sk far the best WearOS watch you can buy now.
Haven't tried that. But then why not directly connect the ear buds to the phone and answer the call? The watch doesn't have 4G support so you need the phone connected anyway to answer the calls.

In Samsung frontier s3 watch have this kind of support in Samsung Watch there is two options through watch speaker or Bluetooth ear buds you can switch. My watch gt2 stopped recieving WhatsApp call notification anymore. I used too get my WhatsApp call directly to my watch gt2. Now suddenly stopped working. Yeah, it doesn't sync the Heart Rate at all, and even the other measurements takes a lot of time to sync automatically.It didn't sync even after one day so I always have to manually sync.
Brilliant battery performance. And this is with everything on! As good as they are, non of the top smart watches on the market, come anywhere close when it comes to battery life.

It's way better for sure. The only remaining issue, which will remain for sure, is it doesn't sync with Google Fit. If you don't care about it, then it's perfect.
I never experienced any issue like that. However, the sensor is not quite accurate as well. Probably it gives wrong readings due to sweat, hair, even your skin color. Worst case, you might have a defective sensor. You can try to ask someone else to try it out. And you can test another watch.
I don't have that issue but having alarming high level heart rate up as high as 194 though I feel absolutely alright. I guess the heart rate sensor is not accurate especially on high heart rates
Except the obvious issues like syncing, I wouldn't call it bad software TBH. Because, it's made it like that to save battery. If they introduce more sophisticated features, the battery life will definitely go down. And yes, the software itself is very buggy. 😣
@@GnomezGrave The worst is. 1) Isn't apps for integration to Strava or another similar service. Google Fit and MyFitnessPal 100% SUX. For bicycle, activity isn't auto stop function.
Yeah, that's sadly true. I like Amazfit in that aspect because they have really good integration with other services even though they're also a Chinese brand.

The watch is waterproof, but the leather straps will be damaged if you put it in water. So, I would recommend to use a silicone one.

No, this doesn't group the messages. If you have 4 messages, it will show 4 notifications.

Yeah, the buttons are not that stiff and easily be pressed accidentally. :(

Hey, as far as I know, we can't side-load apps to this watch. I can do some research, but given it's current features, I don't think it's possible.

As I know, it should be possible. But I honestly haven't had any such cases which caused confusion. It always connects to my headphones.

No, enabling Always on Display will disable the Raise to Wake feature.

What is the meaning of numbers around the bezel of watch, 2,4,6, 8,10 12etc?
Nothing to be honest. It doesn't make sense to me since it's a 0-24 range, which is useless even with an analog watch face.

Hi, it's NOT possible to install custom Watch Faces. So, you can't add custom Watch Faces and have to stick with what Huawei provides.

It is possible. There is a Watch Face called "Gallery" and you can upload your own images there.

You can remove permission for answering calls for the Huawei Health app, from app permissions section in Android settings.
21:32 bro try looking at your phone's bluetooth device settings. I think there's a checkbox to connect automatically
After a later firmware update this got soved mostly. And I also enabled Bluetooth scanning and it kind of fixed the issue.
