just remember that the 6000 series don't show the entire power draw, from what you see you should add 20-30 watts always so in reality they have about the same power draw!.
Buying a new one is ok it's a good card but upgrading to it from 6700 xt is not a good option. Waiting for the next gen and updating to a card equivalent to 7900 xtx would be a better idea
I intend to build new pc with rx 6700xt(costs around 380$ in my country as the dollar costs 48 l.e) and ryzen 7 7800x3d should I buy now or wait new gen
Great video man, planning to get a 6700xt, do you think it will hold to be able to move games at high graphics and 60+fps in the coming years at 1080p? or will it fall short? we can never know but wanted to hear your opinion about it, Thank you!

Basically the RX 7700 XT is a high end 1080p card despite AMD launching it as a 1440p card. Problem is the same performance is obtained from the previous generation RX 6800 at a cheaper price in the used market.
Why is it 1080p when it does 1440p ultra 60+ fps...if it were a high end 1080p card that goes for the RX 6700 10gb where it can only achieve 60 - 70 fps in 1440p with highish settings but in 1080p it's better there where you can max out settings and get roughly 80fps or around there, the only next gen card is the 4060ti 8 gb card that we all thought can do 1440p but can't and the 16gb version is the same card so it can't too
Thanks. Think i'll stick to my beautiful RX6700XT. Still delivers high fps at lower wattage. I've got bills to pay!

It can. The 6700xt was originally meant for 1440p. But nowadays it’s a great 1080p gaming card, and it should remain that way for a couple more years.

Thats basic Gigabyte card behavior
I think Ryzen 5 7600 and RX 6700 XT create a good good platform. What motherboard do you recommend for this set?
MSI B650-S or A WIFI or gigabyte b650 gaming ax or eagle ax

rx 6800
rx 7800 xt, are from 450€/$
for nvidia anything lower than a 4070 super is a scam. If you got the budget go for a 7800xt, if not get a 7700xt, 6800 non-xt or a 6750 xt
Rx 6700xt still better price to performance card. 7700xt needs to drop to ~ $360 for me to pull the trigger

You should test with dragon's dogma 2.
And which monitor is on your right? Is this monitor bigger than your Odyssey G7 32" or is it a TV?
both are 32"
7700xt was rather disappointing. Terrible price at launch, same performance as rx 6800 vith less vram and a lot more power draw.
Its actually the same power draw for both cards. It's just that RDNA3 reports total power draw while RDNA2 only reports a part of the total draw
