Time is a great healer for both physical and mental hurt. I’m the same since my T-bone, don’t trust anyone on the road. It’s 8 months since the King hit and wrote off a Commodore with a motorcycle blind driver at the wheel. I can remember in fine detail the impact and my thoughts as I tumbled through the air…. I’m getting another bike, I just don’t know what yet. I’ve literally considered everything from a Postie to a BMW R18… I’m rambling. Take it easy, be patient, look after your Mrs and be determined to enjoy the next chapter.
You are doing mighty mate. Keep taking one day at a time and sooner than later you will be past this, take the rest of the week of bro and rest easy. You have options and they seem to be many…in the pursuit of happiness (see what I did there😂😂)
Man those injuries sneak up on you, and those flashbacks too. Don't rush. I'm sure many people appreciate your frankness, that hyperawareness sounds a bit confronting. Nice to hear you've got options, whether it's a Roadmaster Pursuit or a #2 of what you had. If the 2025 water-cooled Roadmaster is the go, perhaps it could be a chance to own an adventure bike to tide you over, try out some of those dirt roads. Whatever you choose to do, whether bikes, recovery or whatever, you've got a lot of people behind you mate. Do what you need to. All the best to you and Jaqs, thanks for the update.
Takes a while to get over these things mate. Hope you have a speedy recovery. The fact that you are looking at bikes means you are heading in the right direction to return to riding.
Take it easy, bith you and the missus and get yourselves healed. Usually, they'll write off the bike due to the expense of repairing. Cheaper to write off. Take care. Cheers
I am really sorry to hear what's happened. And I really do feel for you, I also hope that you get your stuff sorted out soon. After what has happened recently? It is really hard for anyone to say. What the next hobby is going to be next time, so will just wait and see what happens. Cheers from William.
Not for me steve.. haven't killed my Indian she was still kicking over.. and 124.000klm and running like a dream.. just nit a Harley guy thry dont do it for me.
Even if it is fixable, would you want to ride a bike that's beet hit that hard? I hope it is written off for practical reasons. Sentimentality aside, you are better off.

Man, the trauma and flashbacks will go away. It too me a couple of months. Go gently.
You both are doing great. One day at a time. Stay positive!
Take it easy
When you get the bits , they are prepainted and bolt on . 2025 gets us a water called Roadmaster , with Powerplus Engine .
That sounds worth waiting for ,,mmmm
