Hope you guys enjoy the video! Let me know if you want to see similar videos using different shapes 👍
An excellent tutorial!

I used to think Nick was the mack daddy. But you are super strong too! I have learned a ton of stuff with your videos. Thanks Cat!
At the 3:20 point - interesting method to eliminate the parts outside of the polygon. I needed that technique about a week ago. Will be putting that into my toolbox for future use. Thanks!
I would never have thought of this. And I like the shape builder tool! Guess I have to update my inkscape.
nice tutorial again !
i really learn a lot from your videos.
thanks 🙏
Good job! So the grid holds the key...
i love it 🙌
thanks bro ❤❤
Excelente!!
Great tutorial! Do you also have the "flaw" with the shape builder tool that a circular object changes shape after you used the shape builder tool? The nicely rounded shape gets deformed a bit
Yep. To prevent that, before using the shape builder tool, turn the circle(s) into paths, then use the node tool to select all of the nodes and click the "Make selected nodes symmetric" button in the controls bar.
@@SweaterCatDesigns wow thanks! I was working with strokes so thats why. I'm trying it out right away!
