I been using the FJ80SE for about 3 three months now and its been a life saver for events. I am personally going to try number 2 the first chance I get.
Once I had to deal with speedlight and 165cm godox white reflective umbrella with a diffuser)))) had to dim the lights in the room but it worked!) with a silver reflector on chest level for headshots. Awsome video!
That’s crazy you got the Easy Boom because I was literally looking at purchasing it today! I was just worried that its 3ft span was maybe too short but I’m sold now! Thanks!
i started with canon 580 EX II but had serious issues with the pocket wizards so ended up selling them all to go with the 600ex-rt. one of my matched pair (bought simultaneously with sequential SNs) one has developed the failure to link issue and now that theyre discontinued ill probably never get it fixed. i have another pair but theyre used and i dont know what kind of life they have left so theyre used for on location on camera flash (most of what i do is PJ work) id LOVE to be able to do some work like this because i ABSOLUTELY LOVE how simple the set ups are but finding models who are willing to work tfp without a 'true' studio (i have 16' ceilings and all white walls in my living room) are next to impossible... great video. informative, short, and thorough! i like the 2nd light the best i think but they all look good
That boom arm though! A little off topic but I had the opportunity to try out the FJ400 and 200's in a studio and, comparing to the Godox AD400/300/200 which are what I own, they were a step above in terms of responsiveness and they just seemed to be of higher quality. The thing I noticed right away was the recycle time was verrrry snappy, even with the fj200's. I appreciate that you can opt to use them AC powered as well, which is great for long studio shoots. A step above the godox ecosystem which unfortunately I'm firmly entrenched. Great video, I like all the setups but will probably experiment with that bounce a little more!
Saludos Maestro!!
FJ80 saved my shots in Miami recently. The heat sapped my battery power on my FJ400. So had to resort to the FJ80 and another model holding the light directly at her nose. Still got great results after losing the big lights.
Do you have any tips on dealing with the Westcott X-Drop backdrops with sweep? Even taping them to the floor with gaffers tape I still get a lot of wrinkles and a lot of times it bunches up on my subjects feet.
Are you eliminating all ambient light in the room prior to adding the flash? Or working with it? Tried something similar a few days ago but just could not get my light to look right!

I love them all but 2 is my favorite. I’m just blown away by what a pocket flash can do with bounce and white boards. Bangin shots man!

That’s a good question I need to double check.

It’s always great to have a Speedlight as a back up 🙌🏻

I save a piece of paper from other shoots and use that for the sweep.

Hahaha oh you know 🙌🏼🔥
Would these speedliggts compare to the godox ms300?
Similar but these speedlights are 80watts
The substance comes from the device 100mm behind the viewfinder.
