This looks delicious! I like the pork flavor, but agree with you on the carrots and peas! Do you think shreds of book choy leaves would taste good in here? Also....the music was delightful to listen to!
Cynthia, thank you for the reply to my question on the wok. I will say a prayer for you and your husband for him to recover from his surgery. Also, may your house be Blessed with health for you and your family, safety and love.
Thank you for your prayers, his surgery was a success and his recovery is going well. I'll start cooking and filming again soon. Please try my recipes and share them with loved ones. Take care and bless you.
Where do you get your wooded spoon? Looks beautiful. I boil my shrimp skins with Old Bay. Should I substitute chicken broth for shrimp skin broth OR is there a method to use both chicken broth and fish broth and in what amounts and when? Thank you in advance!
I get my wooden spoons from World Market because they usually have them for a reasonable price. I stick with chicken broth when making this dish. Some people in my family don't like the overwhelming taste of the fish broth. However, it's up to your individual taste. I say experiment and see what suits you. I've learned how to cook from a young age and sad to say I really don't measure too many of my ingredients, I just know what my family likes and I stick with that. A pinch of this and pinch of that, and everything always seems to come out just right. That is how my grandmother taught me and it has served me well so far. I apologize if that wasn't the answer you were looking for. Appreciate your support of my channel, and please if you have any suggestions for a recipe, drop me line and I will see if I can create it.
No carrots and especially peas please!! Ha ha, well done! Incidentally, some one commented its hard to get this right (like most Chinese dishes). What is there to look our for particularly.
Cynthia, this is the first time that I'm seeing you on RUclips and I'm sure it will not be the last. I want to know if you could advise me on a wok. I will need one that can be used on an electric stove. I'm going to try your recipe. Thanking you in advance.
