Jade is a SUPER ATHLETE, she jogged but seemed like a 4.2 40yd. Jade is a good champ and Statlander should've gotten a bigger shot alone .
This segment was a little weird. The babyfaces attacked the enhancement talent prior to the match, they double teamed a heel, and the heels came to the save? 😂
They should've just had Jade and Hogan face Stratlander and Athena instead of the sisters. The sisters last faced Britt Baker and Rebel so it didn't make sense for them to be there or at all. Instead of letting Leila get defeated Stokely and Leila could have came in and plan the attack.

That tag team move with Statlander and Athena where Athena jumps off the top rope to knee the opponent should be a team finisher. That was pretty creative because I've never seen it before.

When Kris came back, out of the claw machine to push the glass into Penelope's face, I was so amped to see her back. I liked the alien gimmick but felt Kris should switch it up to more of a Cyberpunk motif. This current look works for her too.
Jade is not losing that belt anytime soon.

First off, only reason I'm here too. Second off, they could have had the true feud with Red Velvet! Why TF did Tony stop the rivalry, start it again, and then abandon the rivalry to randomly throw them together? It should have been a longer, uninterrupted rivalry between Jade and Red (the person she has the most chemistry with), an uneasy, temporary, back-stabby partnership, then finally mutual respect, and *finally* a team-up.
Someone else needs to book the women because they need some f/cking consistency! It seems like Tony just threw multiple women together to give them all something to do rather than separate stories. This with Athena and Kris seems hodgepodge as well. SMH
Loving this rivalry. Statlander and Athena are more then capable of ending Jade's undefeated streak. I'm pulling for Statlander. The way Jade took out Athena during this segment was devestatung. Can't do that to Kris!!!

The problem with some faces chasing heels, is that the faces don't have the swag and charisma to match the previous champ, which gives "fans" a sense of someone having a bad reign when their having banger defenses. I hope that doesn't happen to Kris.
"Switcheroo" Ja-ja-ja, I see what you did there, Tony. It's been a long time since I saw a little bit of "Twin Magic." And, hope to see Kris Statlander dethrone Jade Cargill.
The match could be better with more time, Statlander, Athena and the Renegade Twins are absolutely fantastic! The after match was a little disappointed, in my opinion it could be better if Cargill and Kiera Hogan instead coming up to the ring straight forward, they could attack from behind like good heels or the moment when Leila Grey was dropped by Statlander, she could attack her and then Athena would attack Grey to defend Statlander, and then the Baddies would have the advantage of 3 vs 1! Hopefully Athena is going to be next TBS champion to start with the legacy of the title, and hopefully Statlander will win matches, and have great stories and feuds leading her to be the one who will defeat Thunder Rosa and become the next AEW Women's World champion, she deserve it! 💪🔥🤘
Agreed! It didn't make sense at all that Statlander and Athena got owned just by one move from Jade and Hogan considering they only used 1% of their energy to win against the Renegade twins.

Triple threat with Jade pinning Ember Moon denying Statlander the win is the best way to go and Statlander getting her one on one match against Jade at all out and winning. Leila can interfere and help Jade to win the triple threat match. Leila needs to prove herself to Jade before letting her into the group properly.
@@gunnyo50 being added into the 4 way would be the ground to prove herself though, the plan being help Jade win so she can be properly let in the group. 2 Faces vs 1 Heel triple threats are often forced drama because it's designed to wedge the faces so the heel can sneak a win, with a 2 heels 2 face 4-way it goes either way

This was one of the worst after match intrusions I've ever seen in wrestling. Stat and Athena win easily; what's her face interrupts; Jade and KIERA HOGAN destroy Stat and Athena; baddies walk away unscathed. What? Isn't Kris Statlander one of the top women in the company?! And the saw the whole thing coming. I don't get it.

This was a pretty disgraceful sequence, between the 30 second squash match followed by Jade and Kiera immediately beating them up. How can you take them seriously as contenders when they get beat down in 5 seconds? The Renegade Twins are a great tag team and probably the #1 women's tag team on the indies, so this could have been a great match if they were given any time at all. Knowing what they are capable of watching them on the indies made this even harder to stomach. This basically accomplished nothing as a whole because they were given no time, ending up rushing through everything and killing it all.

1st. Why is "Athena" who only wrestled 2 matches b4 "Rampage" thrown into what seems 2 b on inevitable match w/ Jade?
2nd. Why is Kris Statlander getting attacked by the Kiera Hogan (the shorter woman) when she couldn't beat Kris unless she had help from Cargill?
3rd. IDGAF if they are setting women's Tag Team championships; why isn't Kris Statlander wrestling 4 the TBS or women's championship & winning? She's been there longer than all of them (yes she had a leg injury but she is an AEW original.) Why does she keep getting passed over when she is clearly a better wrestler than "Athena" Kiera Hogan & 100% better than Jade & almost as strong as her? Jade is an incredible athlete but give me break! When does Kris finally get some gold?
Last: Tony Khan...no is going 2 take the women's division (which has great wrestlers in there) seriously if ur only going 2 shower them mostly on "Dark" & when u have them on TV their matches r short 4 the exception of a few. I have been a writer 4 over 30 yrs & I could write a better storyline than this bullshit & book the women better! Stop this wanna be Goldberg/Undertaker streak shit with an inexperienced person who's only been wrestling 4 less than a 1yr and 1/2.

Solid match ruined by an uninteresting feud. Not a single sound from the crowd when Jade and Kiera came out, because not even the arena could care.
I think it's also because every women's match ends the same with an attack and run in. When the match ends everyone's heads turn to the ramp to see who's gonna run out.
@@KC-vx5wo It probably bit them in the butt that this happened on Rampage, because it seemed like Jade and Kiera only had enough time to get a hit in and leave, but why do this forgettable angle if it could've been like a Jade promo on the tron to interrupt, or for Kris and Athena to walk strong and Excalibur finally announcing a match to end this feud?
