@@kyleday5026 Taya lost in the dumbest and most illogical way possible. Losing by using the RTV could've allowed Taya to continue looking like a credible threat to Jade's title run and her streak. She arguably looks worse than anybody because Jade didn't even use her finisher. Tony has already managed to book Taya into oblivion in just under a month.
Shame Aubrey didn't go on that road trip with Taya. You knew everyone and their great grand pappy would have loved it

I give her short matches flack, but she does have a lot of potential and she is really improving, she just needs more opportunities like this to show that off.
I was just thinking this!! Jade has improved so much since she became champion and while her title reign has been long, she’s proven time and time again why she deserves to be on top. This was easily one of her best matches cause they actually gave them time to execute

I don't see why you feel the need to try and undermine my compliment by complaining about the finish.
Canadian destroyer has more to do with the opponent. Taya is the one that made that happen. And Taya has to do the flip over jade to make the superplex happen. Jade looks better and better. But her best matches always come vs vets. That said, she looked good vs a rookie last week. And she didn't before. So she is definitely getting better. Taya can teach her a lot. That said, Taya needs to work on her cardio.
I usually don’t message about AEW stuff as much, but…. I felt like I was watching a match at 0.75x speed.
They book Jade into overcomplicated matches. I don't understand why? Her character would fit perfectly with a more Goldberg style of match: short and extremely intense with high hitting moves instead of the gymnastics everyone does at AEW.
I normally like Taya but it looked like this match was done at half speed

You know what I have a feeling that they're going to make Taya dethrone Jade at DoN with that ending that screams a rematch for The TBS Title Jade did not go for The Jaded done by design I like that Jade pulled out a Canadian Destroyer on Taya. Taya is a near 20 year vet. It’d be more interesting if she could beat you with different moves honestly.

I thought the same thing when it came to Cody dethroning Roman at Wrestlemania this year. We all know how that turned out. Even though I want Taya to defeat Jade for the title, I'm keeping my hopes low after what happened at Wrestlemania. Though this is an opportunity for TK to show he's the better booker. Again lol

Whenever I see a Jade match posted, I go check AEW roster first. If Jade is still listed as TBS champ, no need to watch the video. Her winning streak got old 30 matches ago.

What a disappointing match this turned out to be and one of the dumbest finishes ever. Taya Valkyrie forgets the stipulation about not being able to use her Road to Valhalla finisher and after the ref reminds her, she just stands there looking lost before getting rolled up in a cradle and pinned by Jade Cargill. Really?! Did Taya suddenly just forget all of the other moves in her repertoire?! Terrible. Would have loved to see her lay out Aubrey Edwards post-match! Didn't happen. AEW rushed this match and should have saved it for Double Or Nothing.
A terrible, slow, sloppy match with a terrible finish but it's a jade cargill match it's to be expected at this point

I just feel bad over Taya practically getting buried in this match.
Taya was slow and moves like an amateur. Can’t get buried if you can perform all that well and also I don’t see it as a bury when she’s wrestling the woman’s champion. Even though both of them need more in ring work and practice she put up a good match against an undefeated champion.

sick and tired of Cargill's lack of talent/execution in the ring..the reason why she always wins is because she can't help sell a match and constantly needs someone with actual skill to put her over, something she has no ability to reciprocate, she is probably the worst worker in AEW and believes her own unsubstantiated hype. sad thing is the fans can see it and management is blind to it and just makes them look like fools. end the pain, take her title, and don't give her another opportunity until she develops some actual talent.
Taya is just as bad, maybe worse because she's way more experienced.

Jade should’ve lost the belt to Athena and then continued improving as she’s been doing without the belt. We could still see Jade develop, have more interesting feuds, while giving the title more memorable Champions, matches, and relevance. This streak of stifling others’ momentum feels pointless and her character has felt stale or stagnant for a while. But hey, that’s AEW sometimes babayy
Athena is god awful, they need to put jade in program with someone who is actually a good wrestler so she can improve

As much as I want to see Jade Cargill streak go pass the 100 mark, AEW creative are going to have to find new ways to make Jade's feuds more interesting. I am enjoying the Jade/Taya feud, but I often feel like there is something missing in these rivalries. Nonetheless keep up the good work. 💪🏽💪🏽🌪⚡️

Taya should have used the Road to Valhalla on Jade Gargil (to get DQ’d). Then should have used the Road to Valhalla on Jade (again), Leia Grey, Mark Sterling, Aubrey Edwards, another random ref, three security guards, Tony Schiavone and finally Tony Khan.
If this finish was a setup for a rematch at Double or Nothing then I guess it works, if not then the finish was a let down.

Being under threat of DQ for using a legal move is about the dumbest stipulation ever. The Spear being banned at one point comes to mind. Like what was Taya meant to use if not her own move? I don't think she was using anything else before debuting in AEW. Neither of them are even the first ones to do it. Beth Phoenix should send a cease and desist letter to both of them.

It's not a legal move in AEW though, the refs banned it. Not that hard to understand.
Taya has plenty of other moves she could use, and Jade proved that by beating her with a roll up.

You got people doing spears and Stunners and just every legends finisher like they're a created wrestler in a video game. Jade can come up with something new and so can Taya.
