Keeping the plant in the house holds promotes invasion as the birds love to eat them. Lantana camara has several mutant varieties . I urge the readers not to buy this sp. Tamil Nadu Government started removing them from the forests. Hon.Madras High Court, Madurai Bench has already taken up the case on PIL for removal of major invasive species found in the forests of Tamil Nadu. Sundar Rajan
Lantana can reach 2 to 6 feet tall and 3 to 10 feet wide when grown as a perennial. In areas where treated as an annual, lantana grow 3 to 4 feet tall and 1 to 3 feet wide in a single season.
loved your pics of all the different varieties. Is there really a red white blue variety of Lantana plant? I saw seeds for sale of one called Liliya's mix but not sure its a real. looking for some expert advice. thanks
