Seems like we have some real mana problems after unlocking the ark passive so I recommend removing 1 point from the cooldown node of the Devil skill and placing it in the speed/mana option

It's because of the ark passive node called "blunt thorn". It caps the crit rate at 80% and every extra % is converted to a raw damage increase instead
I want play this on my alt arcana but this guide is very intimidating :) Can this be played comfortably on like a medium level? On other arcanas I pull decent results
You probably have to cut of mass increase though. Without the the empress whisper node in the last tree of enlightment, you kind of lack attack speed. But stabilized should do just fine, just make sure to switch to mp efficiency on g4 though
I feel like a elementary school kid listening to some phd lvl university stuff being a sorceress player watching arcana guides and gameplay xD.. god if only this class didnt have such a high entry barrier I wouldve probably already made one so long ago
To be fair this guide targets a very niche part of the arcana community. Most Empress Arcana's play Evoke/Backflush and I rarely see stream Arcana's(at least on NAW). On top of that this guide is pretty advanced, with the goal to hit the highest ceiling possible with the most efficient rotation. But don't be discouraged, whenever I see someone showing interest in the Arcanist class, I always tell them to try it out for themselves and don't let the community discourage you.
The entry barrier is definitely higher than any other class but I think most people can play her at a decent level after a bit of practice. There is still a huge gap between average arcanas and people that are close to mastering it but anyone who enjoys the class will keep getting better I remember watching jiudau play arcana long ago and I couldn't follow what he was doing and was just mind blown by the gameplay so everyone have been there 😀

could you explain a bit more about the hit master comment? is it the fact that some skills have attack modifiers on the non ruin portion of the skill so it's bad? i have a 9grudge/7hm stone so i was wondering if i should recut for something else
Foak, garden and seren have front/back attack modifiers on the base damage which is not ruin and spiral edge + scratch dealer also has modifiers. Hit master was already a bit bad before the new Devil skill was introduced and it's even worse now when it has 30% back attack share. My estimate is that hit master loses around 15% efficiency and makes it a 14.5% engraving while MP efficiency or cursed doll is 16/17%
@@ThePrytz So having a 9/7 with hit master as opposed to a 9/6 with other engravings gives you 1.5% base attack power and 0.75% more damage on the hit master engraving. So it would be somewhere around 1% weaker than cursed doll and roughly the same as MP efficiency? Is that correct?
Interesting ty. Is mana a big issue in t4? It seemed like I ran out within like 1:30-2 minutes in trixion depending on cards. If so I might consider swapping my 9/7 for a 9/6 and running mp efficiency.
at 1660 ilvl 72 points and 3 ancient gear do we break even or its better to switch at that time? (I also assume its same for stream and 242 evoke build?)
@@ApexPreds1 I only did a little bit of testing and the breakpoints in my guide is when the ark passive is about even with the t3 setup. Didn't have any relic books or t4 accs equipped so the damage can definitely be 15-25% better depending on the investment All arcana builds should be able to switch at the same time with the 28% cooldown
