I thought everyone was already aware of this, but its the ark passive skill tree thing that caps all crit at 80% max. Bluntthorn or something like that.. So you can't get 100% not even with cull.

Yep exactly, the blunt thorn set caps the crit rate at 80% no matter what

@@ThePrytz holy i still hasn't unlocked ark passive but does that really make it worth for the damage to not be able to crit even with cull? it really gave that much of a damage

Almost never run out of mana without MPE or food so you don't have to worry

The cost of all builds are kinda the same in t4 and I reommend trying them both to see which one you like the most

I think wealth and QR have about equal value so it's just a preference thing. I usually prefer wealth but had my runes swapped cause of some cooking I did 1 week ago

It's pretty hard to do good damage and the very skill ceiling takes thousands of hours to reach imo

They changed to master to make blunt thorn "stronger" but seem to forget that cull has really high uptime on our total damage because of the Devil My calculations say that crit damage is stronger and every 1% additional crit rate translates to ~0.5% damage increase

Changed them when I cooked some seren stuff and forgot to swap back. All runes except rain, garden and seren are pretty set in stone. Garden/rain can have either wealth or QR and seren can have galewind or wealth and it doesn't matter which you choose because they're all about the same "value"

@ I went back through my logs and realized I hit similar numbers, but I guess it’s highly dependent on a sup because I’ve only seen them that high once. Competent sup that prebuffs slightly before you can burst the head is night and day difference.

@@Magarnapvp The community says empress does slightly more damage but is much harder to play. I would suggest whichever play style you enjoy more, you should pick that one. One thing for sure is emperor looks very flashy but is one of the least mobile dps classes in the game.

@@FIVETEMPLE emperor is not mobile? You have full swiftness, plus your spacebar cooldown is very quick as well. I get that you have to cast skills like crazy and that prevent you from walking around (either walk or lose dps) but i don't think a full swiftness class is less mobile than Sorc or Summoner. Or maybe you meant Empress? The Emp >emp meme caught you off guard as well xD.

I think they do about the same damage and it mainly comes down to which build you enjoy playing the most

You only change one skill and take a swift/spec necklace instead or crit/spec. Evoke draws a couple more cards while stream has lower cooldowns and some crazy combos with balance and snake I recommend watching syla for evoke gameplay. Both builds are strong so it's mostly just preference

@@DahanChoi-rw9ws KR are new to the build and almost no one knows how to play it properly with the combos and snake/balance so I don't trust their research yet. I follow everything on inven and it's definitely interesting tho! As for cooldown, I believe it's easy to get most out of it if you have good uptime and even if you "waste" cooldowns during downtime, we make up for it with landing extra skills in shorter dps windows. I will personally decrease my cooldowns even further after brelshaza and use a spec/swift bracelet with whisper lv. 3 because I think crit has really bad value on empress because the T skill should have around 50% cull uptime

@@DahanChoi-rw9ws Swiftness isn't only for landing 4 ruins skills because it's such a small damage increase. The real reason is to draw more cards and snowball the buffs from balance/moon/snake/judgment to get even more card draw so we can buff the devil more. Swiftness also reduces the devil's cooldown significantly

​@@ThePrytz I agree, crit's very iffy on empress. The reasoning with limitbreak 3 is that it's not tied to blunt thorn, so you get a harder hitting T skill even with cull - and you get a good buffer for skills used inside and outside stream. Limitbreak3 does have the same burst window (need to apply critdmg selfbuff = 2 ruins per critdmg selfbuff so window is essentially the same) - just the burst windows are spaced further apart - allowing movement / boss movement. Agree on the carddraw / balance / snake issue though. Idk really how much dropping CDR might change carddraw. Judging by initial results apparently its pretty efficient in brel hm compared to going ham on cdr - not so much in behemoth / thaemine g3.

You give up like ~24% effective cooldown for ~14% damage and lose a lot of card draw and stream + bleed/poison uptime. KR can keep cooking and I will follow it, but I already mathed and tested out most things and will stick with my setup

It's not too expensive and she plays 6 bards

Yep I did the math and Critical is 10.5% dmg increase while master is 10% with Cull included. Arcana has really bad crit scaling because of Cull, and it's about 0.5% dmg per 1% additional crit Cull gives +100% crit rate so it's pointless to use stream unless you have balance or snake for combos

@@ThePrytz Thanks for the reply! Final question is why you decided to remove your quick recharge runes. Would you recommend me keeping them if I'm only running lvl7/8 CD gems?

Can check my runes at 9:33 I have changed my runes a lot in the last weeks but think I've settled with this new setup (usually have wealth on garden but had to take purify this run)

Yep! it's 5% cooldown on the bottleneck skill so I would definitely say it helps. That sword burst was a bit unfortunate and I will tell the other people to remove their gems next attempt so they dont do too much damage at the start

@@ThePrytz Also can i copy your rune setup if i run lvl 8cd gems on spiral and stream, while other cds are lvl7?

@@FIVETEMPLE Yep it's fine and not related to gems at all. Might change my setup again in the future but my guide is mostly up to date so check it every now and then

Yep, crit damage is 0.5% stronger than crit rate per ring so I'll be using 2x4% as well

@ i have 1 more question . i have 9/7 stone . 9 adre 7 hit master is it good to use this stone ? Or ill use 7/7 stone without the hit master?

Haven't tested it much but I don't think the math checks out on that setup. You add a shackle with stabilized status and probably need to remove mass increase because of the attack speed

I use deathbound in real raids now because the hyper awakening deals ~20% more damage. I only have time to use the normal awakening 1 time per raid so I rather have a stronger hyper

I personally think it is 5-10% stronger than evoke in real raids and it's more fun for me. You need to utilize the balance and snake card well to reach the very top ceiling but I believe it can still be enjoyable without all the min maxing. You should give it a try after unlocking the ark passive and see if you like it!

@@jamesshroogle6331 Yes, you have to look at every card you draw and make a plan in your head while adapting your rotation to the cooldowns. It is a lot of work

@@miquelmascaro5667 I use critical to leave room for a crit syn and cull. Haven't really put much thought into the awakening and I forget to use it ever since we got the Devil and hyper awakening. Can use it with wheel or cull and I definitely need to do it more. Deathbound is probably slightly better and I might swap, but the damage difference is very small

@@kennytruong5854 I play the same setup as this video, except for the whisper. Taking extra swift is only good when you have 5 ancient pieces because we can't compensate for all the cooldown loss before without giving up too much damage

@@iProszz in general or just on the devil? We are missing some crit sources like relic adren and rings but rain, garden and foak should crit most of the time

@@ThePrytzsince serendipity rarely crits, is there even a point to use it stacked over the other ruin skills? And if thats the case, whats the point of the skill? Why not replace it with evoke
