@@miquelmascaro5667 I use critical to leave room for a crit syn and cull. Haven't really put much thought into the awakening and I forget to use it ever since we got the Devil and hyper awakening. Can use it with wheel or cull and I definitely need to do it more. Deathbound is probably slightly better and I might swap, but the damage difference is very small

@@kennytruong5854 I play the same setup as this video, except for the whisper. Taking extra swift is only good when you have 5 ancient pieces because we can't compensate for all the cooldown loss before without giving up too much damage

@@JackySlime in general or just on the devil? We are missing some crit sources like relic adren and rings but rain, garden and foak should crit most of the time

First off , congratz, second, how many pieces do i need to change into ark passive with arcana (i'm using the evoke setup) cause when i was trying to change i did like 40% less dmg in trixion than the current t3 setup, I was simulating 2 pieces and 3 pieces. i'm under 1680 btw, gems lvl 7 t4

@@r41d3nganyusimp5 I think 2 pieces is when to swap becauase T4 accs give extra damage compared to trixion. My 1660 arcana alt just swapped today

@@sylarxDlolz I only did a little bit of testing and the breakpoints in my guide is when the ark passive is about even with the t3 setup. Didn't have any relic books or t4 accs equipped so the damage can definitely be 15-25% better depending on the investment All arcana builds should be able to switch at the same time with the 28% cooldown

Also, CN server will opening ivory tower​ next month. They gonna change engravings to T4 version and lunch hyper awakening and T skill on our server. But they will keep the boundless mana 😂. How do you think about that? @@ThePrytz

It's because of the ark passive node called "blunt thorn". It caps the crit rate at 80% and every extra % is converted to a raw damage increase instead

To be fair this guide targets a very niche part of the arcana community. Most Empress Arcana's play Evoke/Backflush and I rarely see stream Arcana's(at least on NAW). On top of that this guide is pretty advanced, with the goal to hit the highest ceiling possible with the most efficient rotation. But don't be discouraged, whenever I see someone showing interest in the Arcanist class, I always tell them to try it out for themselves and don't let the community discourage you.

The entry barrier is definitely higher than any other class but I think most people can play her at a decent level after a bit of practice. There is still a huge gap between average arcanas and people that are close to mastering it but anyone who enjoys the class will keep getting better I remember watching jiudau play arcana long ago and I couldn't follow what he was doing and was just mind blown by the gameplay so everyone have been there 😀

@@ThePrytz yea for sure, I just feel like shes a class thats main material, rather than an alt thats never gonna fully excell and get your full attention so to speak. But I was in a Behemoth the other day with you and you were blasting 😂. Maybe I will try her down the line, im still not set in stone with my roster and generally love the class fantasy :).

Foak, garden and seren have front/back attack modifiers on the base damage which is not ruin and spiral edge + scratch dealer also has modifiers. Hit master was already a bit bad before the new Devil skill was introduced and it's even worse now when it has 30% back attack share. My estimate is that hit master loses around 15% efficiency and makes it a 14.5% engraving while MP efficiency or cursed doll is 16/17%

@@ThePrytz So having a 9/7 with hit master as opposed to a 9/6 with other engravings gives you 1.5% base attack power and 0.75% more damage on the hit master engraving. So it would be somewhere around 1% weaker than cursed doll and roughly the same as MP efficiency? Is that correct?

Interesting ty. Is mana a big issue in t4? It seemed like I ran out within like 1:30-2 minutes in trixion depending on cards. If so I might consider swapping my 9/7 for a 9/6 and running mp efficiency.

The boundless part is easier but the general card usage and combos with the T skill seems more complex, so it's hard to say. Would only recommend playing arcana if you really like the class and got the patience to get better over time

@@ThePrytz Should be fine? The biggest struggle I had was dividing my attention between cooldowns, cards, mana and peeking at my buff bar to see if i was in boundless or not, I think general rotation being more complex would be fine now that the mana thing is no longer an issue. The RNG and complexity seems engaging and good to main since it’s different from pull to pull, coming from EW ended up becoming a little too simple with time

@@ThePrytz My bad for the questions but I asked in LOA discord and no one responded, my Arcana is sitting at 1580 rn no 5x3+1 only high quality accessories + engraving support. With T4 2 weeks away should I just save my gold for honing and later on get T4 accessories instead of buying accessories for current 5x3+1

​@@kirifps since she's sitting at 1580, I think it will be a long time before you can use the ark passive so prob best to invest into a 5x3+1 if it's cheap

@@WorldIAmemes no one has got a ban for meter yet and many famous people stream with it so dont think its a problem. I mostly show the logs for educational purposes because arcana is a very complex class with a lot of rng and self buffs, which is why I don't show the other players name anymore

@@TeddUlette ye true but thats not fun Also don't wanna force atros when my cards are bad and even when I have good ones, I think the head burst is very important to bring the overall HP down

@@dumdumdummyy I'm planning on making a guide when we get T4 but the build doesn't change much. These KR players probably lack sources of cooldown so it's a bit more noticeable but I think some downtime is a good thing because most bosses are not like trixion

You mean QR on CoD? That's actually a good idea because it's used more than rain. I change my runes pretty often but definitely feel like 2-3 QR are going to be the best in t4 where one procc removes the stream downtime and it also reduced the T skill cooldown a lot

​@@ThePrytz No I meant QR on secret garden. Right now I'm running epic quick recharge on secret garden and legendary quick recharge on CoD, and I put bleed on rain instead of epic wealth. I was wondering if you changed your runes compared to the guide because on guide you still run bleed on secret garden and purple galewind on CoD.

@@cyril9194 oh okay! I change my runes pretty often and it doesn't matter much what you choose tbh. In t4 I will probably use 3-4 QR, 1-2 wealth, maybe 1 poison/bleed and rest galewinds

The build will stay the same but a lot of focus will be around the new T skill so I think we are going to hold certain cards longer than usual (wheel/cull/clown). There is also a a cooldown breakpoint to land 4 red skills in one stream and it requires very high investment so we might have to go swift pet (160 swift) at the start of the ark passive. Will make a full t4 guide once we get the new trixion. @@farazon8472 yep so around 70%. I think the uptime is more like 75% but the cull card makes it go downs since you don't often overlap the buffs

I still do guardians and chaos on my deadeyes but I decided to only invest in my arcanas after I created this build. It's too expensive to push different classes when they need gems and I am not spending much money on the game And yes, this class is very rewarding when you learn it and the ceiling is high, so there's always something to improve on

@@ly8540 you can but it's lower damage than going 5x3+1 with raid captain

Gear, support, boss patterns, synergies and cards play a big role in how much damage you do so it's hard to compare with others. Also, the most important thing is to have fun when you play a class and you will naturally get better over time if you focus on improving your uptime and card usage

I used a sleep nade for the snake because they get a shield in hard mode 🤷‍♂
