Starting going to raves in late 92 at "EDGE" in Ft.Lauderdale FL. so i had known the music for a few YRS. But then i heard this CD in 96 and instantly fell in fu¿kN love with D.J. Frankie Bones. That yr i saw him live in i believe maybe Westin FL. but don't remember then in 98 at W.M.C. Miami where i brought this C.D.down for him to sign and which i still have thank you.. Him and i talked for a bit and dude was cool as F. Such great memories the 90s were that kinda life will never be replicated......p.s. he signed the c.d.,,,to SHAWN peace"sign",,Frankie Bones.🖤
Besides this being an incredibly tight mix by Bones, the production level of the producers that wrote these tracks were on a different level. These songs told stories, the mix was the journey. Even with all of the technological advances in production equipment, these producers were the masters of the analog hardware they used. Most of these track were written between 92 and 96 almost 30 years ago… that alone is absolute insanity! Think about a computer from 30 years ago and imagine writing music on one… These guys were light years ahead of the music. This was the golden years of Techno and boy do I miss it!
I just found this in a box, the yellow fronted copy, haven't listened to it in 20 years. Opened it up and it's still got the DMC card in it that i never sent off with my name and address filled in and my age 17!!
this is the cd that made me get two 1200's and a shitty ass unmark mixer. I was stuck in my bedroom for about 3 years so i could master the mix before i would even spin in front of people. This was back in 1996 and i have not stop spinning since. THIS IS FOR is my fucking JAMMMMMM!!!!!
I just blew the dust off this one and putting it in a pioneer 2000 later I’ll be back in like another 35 yrs. After a sick mix in my dads backyard Haaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa
9 lives Frankie Bones coming on at 2am after all the posers and kiddie ravers would leave peaking on my candie flip and lose your mind on the dance floor.....bruh if I could only be 18 again
awwww shit!! this is bringing me back to the days of staying up every Saturday night into Sunday and crashing and trying to sleep on Sundays after getting in with or hopefully without waking up my rents. saw Frankie Bones many times back then in the mid 90's at three George Wallace Civic Center in Fitchburg, MA and at a great rave in Taunton ,MA at a roller skating rink and man was I banged up as fuck that night and then saw him at a club on Lansdowne Street in Boston.
Yikes, what a blast from the bast! Frankie Bones played a lot in my home country the Netherlands too back in the 90s and this brings some great memories back. Can't believe he opened with the mighty intro of a Dutch mix disk called House Party 5 (intro created by TCM) and the incredible Microwave Prince is just insane!!! Happy days and thanks for uploading!
I remember seeing bones play in RI around 2000, only dj I've ever seen match beats with 1 of the records playing upside down and backwards. Pure beast for his time
used to listen to this mix in massive holes.....love the track selection on point as fuck. one of my favorite mixes especially after 40 min just nice hard acid!!!
Last track is Caterpillar | Give Me Your Hand - Im proud because its one of my tracks. I still make music....please have a listen: open.spotify.com/album/49ytRi8xJRXe51CZjuJgAT
Hey, love your song "Give Me Your Hand". Would love to hear more of your music but don't have a spotify account. Been in the scene since early 90s. Hope to hear from you. Take care.
20:00 when it hits...friends who didn't really like Trance/ House would tell me they started to feel like they were tripping...lol, the power of a master at work, Frankie Bones🦾
I seen frankie bones spin at down town cafe in red bank nj around 2003 or 2004 in the up stairs of the place and danced all nite i could remember how the floor was bouncing. also with fish scale quality shit. i also seen him spin at this old place called structure in asbury park nj in the fall of 1994. I didn't mean to ramble on and on. its the molly got me going and listening to this just brings me back. but really it's that good as the bombers from back then like rolls Royce green nikes and the Rn's can't forget the mitsubishi's and tt audis prolly not spelling it rite but as I keep typing I wish my girl had a girlfriend she could call up to watch them play with each other lol that would b a nice end the nite
No one taught me how to do the internet. So if there is anyone out there to help. I am an honest giving person. I wouldn't want to take something without knowing it .
I think I saw him. Wait I did see him at …… wait it was definitely……. I must have seen him at --- in the desert with ---. Or was it? Maybe it was? No it couldn’t have been. It must have been someone else. No it was Mr. Bones. I’m pretty positive. HaaaaaHAAAAAA WELL OK I DONT QUITE FULLY REMEMBER BACK THEN.

I have missed this album so much. Lost it in the early 2000’s. Thank you!!!

Solid!
Probably his best set on CD. It's the only one I return to.
Probably my favorite mix from the 90s. When Bones was at the top of his game. Dope as fuck!
9 lives Frankie Bones coming on at 2am after all the posers and kiddie ravers would leave peaking on my candie flip and lose your mind on the dance floor.....bruh if I could only be 18 again
this was my first ever dance music mixtape. back then we called all flavors of techno music "bump"
Inspirational. Been lucky enough to see him live many nights. Such talent and class.
This is the goods. His mix tapes from 92 were things of legend!!
0:16 - Evilspeak (1981)
0:38 - Hellraiser (1987)
0:45 - Split Second (1992)
0:58 - Twilight Zone (doesn't sound like Rod Serling, though)
Nejlepší track 90-2000
A to sem viděl už hodně
We used to bump this on the way to parties >:} \\m//
I feel so old... we would order these by sending a paper order form to Moonshine in Cali.
