On my vito the air won't come at all and u mentioned about the temperature sensor vent and I paused the video. Blowed some air to take the dust away and just worked 😂😂
Where do you get replacement dial for heat. I've taken mine apart and it seems only the little plastic legs on it are broken allowing it to turn all the way around.
Thanks for the vid! This is super helpful. You mentioned that one of the issues is when heat constantly blows - is the solution to clean the temperature sensor behind the fan? Also, what can we do when the A/C and Aux Heat buttons don't work? (i.e. the light doesn't turn on when pressed).
You made no mention about the roller switch which changes the blower speed, on my van I get speed one and two but in position three and four it stays at number two speed. On a cold and/or wet day this can be an issue, I have changed the resistor but it stays the same, do you know of faults with the roller switch which can cause this issue? Thanks for the video.
I know you’re here to promote your business but for those of us who need to save every penny… what is the process to repair the resistor and the temp knob must have some trick to getting it apart?
I guess what I’m asking is how does one fix the resistor I love your video it is very in-depth and will make it easy for me to take the apart and get into it. I’m just not sure how one fixes the resistor.
Good morning . next to the Lm 2904 integrated circuit is a component! The component has three terminals. Please tell me the code on it. I burned it and I don't see its code! to be able to order a new one! Thank you !
@@ECUTeamCorp I have a carbonized component, and we ask you for the part code. It is located on the edge of the mentioned integrated circuit. Thank you for the question. We can take a look and see if this unit is repairable. The problem is common, but it has to be inspected first to avoid confusions. I'm sure it's fixable, but you have to send it, so we can 100% confirm the problem.
you have to re-flow all the solder. i did it six years ago and my AC worked for about 2.5 years then quit working again. super annoying. the heat ac hvac systems on these vans are junk. still like my van though 😄

Hi, I have a problem with the fan speed, is possible to fix it from roulette, the fan works when press the AC of the right side but on the slower speed. May be cause by these unit or the resistor. What do you think?. Thank you so much
@@ECUTeamCorp Hi could you let me know some of this info about speed fan module, is the 4 resistor ?? I check the fan and it blows properly with 12V. When I turn on the AC the fan runs in a slow speed. thank you
Hi, i have no positive on the fan relay. i trace the red and black wire on the diagram and goes stray to the control module and if i give power fan will stay one speed high only. any help please. thank you in advance
The AC stops working, because of the faulty AC Control Module. If your question is why the AC control stops working, because it's an electrical component, that is meant to break after it's own lifetime period. Let me know if you have other questions. Thank you!
Once you clean that fan with some alcohol and dry it off spray it with a little bit of silicone. This will prevent dust from sticking to it. The dust is is attracted by a static charge build-up by the fan moving through the air. Silicone prevents this dust from sticking to the surface and reduce the static build up. Little secret from a engineer with 50 years on-the-job experience. So next time you're interviewing to fill a position put the old man with the experience rather than the hot new guy straight out of school. The Grandpa would do things like the silicone spray without even thinking about it. He would also know the ohm out the potentiometer rather than just rather than just spending money to replace it. He'll also be sober Monday morning when he shows up for work

Thank you!
Some helpful info....but much more if you demonstrated the disassembly process.
Ok, next time we have the unit we will disassemble it for you. Thank you for the idea.
Good job. In hands of a Master it looks smooth and easy. Thank you. Looking forward for more videos.

The knob that changes the blower speed is a separate unit, we can make an additional video on it and show you how to get it done.

Thank you for your question. The Resistor has 10K Ohms. You are right :)
