I appreciate you showing us how to use the dye plates and stamps! I am learning as I go. You are so informative and you share everything you know. I am amazed in everything you do and teach us. YOU do love what you do and it shows. Step by step and for me I need that. I love your tutorials and how you go our pace. A big Thank You Shellie. Hugs
Shellie, you've done it again!!! Oh My Gosh......so beautiful....can't wait to start mine....after I finish two others I am working on...your tutorials are awesome! Thank you!
This is stunning! Your work is so beautiful and your tutorial is absolutely fantastic. You are so thorough and do a great job in explaining each step. This really got me going in my craft room. I am going to use up all my papers so I can get some new ones. Thanks once again for your inspiring tutorial so that we can make an album as pretty as yours. God bless!
I have to invest in the closure pieces. I always use ribbon and it's not sturdy now that my albums are starting to get more ornate and heavy. I don't have any cool eyelet setters or a machine for binding yet. This closure is lovely and sturdy and best of all ready to use with adhesive. It looks complicated and fancy but isn't. Winning. Haven't started watching this video yet but already I can tell I love it. TFS !
Also, Im seeing great things from this heartfelt brand. Yet I've never seen it in Michaels or Joanns. This line needs to be sold everywhere. Those tools and papers are gorgeous!
YOU ARE AMAZING Shellie, and i have just found you so i am not going to lose you1 can you please show how you do your picture mats one day when you have time :)
I love making these albums. I have ordered a lot of the supplies that you carry and love them. The only problem I had was with the magnets. They just weren't strong enough. When I create the envelopes I use tiny Velcro dots to hold the flaps down and they work great. They are clear and you can't see them on the decorative paper. Just a thought.
Thanks Joy. I haven't had any issues with the magnets. They are strong enough for me, but you have a great idea for those that want something extra. The round Velcro dots I'll have to try some time as it's a great alternative you've suggested. Happy Crafting and have fun creating your albums!
Hi Shellie. This is the first time I have seen your tutorials and I just love your work. This album is very beautiful. I'm going to try making one! I do have a question though. Can you tell me what kind of magnets you use and where to get them. I've been having trouble finding ones that will work. They are either to thick or not strong enough. Yours look like flat discs. Thanks Shellie. I'll be watching more of your tutorials.
Hi and welcome to my youtube channel and tutorials. My magnets are generic heavy duty magnets. They are 3/8" wide and 1/16" thick flat disks :) Here is a link to my store, J & S Hobbies so you can see them better or purchase them if needed. jshobbiesandcrafts.com/?product_cat=magnets
Hi Shellie, I am such a fan of your work. I am in the middle of organizing my craft space (don't have a room) and have several albums I am attempting to start. My question is on the waterfall pages, I noticed that between each waterfall sheet that the paper has been perfectly matched. How do you accomplish this? I would love to learn. Thanks for sharing all you do.
It just happened that way :) Pretty much when I want to hide a hinge with paper, I reserve some of the same print and then glue it over anything exposed. I do have another way of doing waterfalls with hidden hinges. I've shown that in previous tutorials, however, it's easier just to do waterfalls just as I did it in this tutorial.
The flowers you use the glaze on looks beautiful, I did it and I couldn't get the bubbles out, do use something to put it on with? Your information on your tutorials are very informative, you explain it very well. Thank you for sharing your time with all of us.
Hi Marion. Most of the time I squirt some glossy accents on a scrap piece of paper then use an old paint brush to apply it. You do have to wash your brush immediately after with warm soapy water or it will ruin your bush.
Hi Shelli! I've watched lots of your tutorials and have decided it's time to create one myself. Is there a printed list of supplies needed so I can see what I have and what I need to complete this one? Thanks, Cathy
Hi Cathy. Yes. On my website i have a Tutorials tab . Give a moment for page to load. It will show the tutorial as well as materials list below it. All my tutorial materials list can be found here. jshobbiesandcrafts.com/?page_id=508
I noticed that you do different creation of album cover, spine and binders. Do you have a tutorial for creating this album from the beginning. I am planning to make this album for my 28 yr old daughter, it is beautiful!
I Sharon. I used the Heartfelt Creations 3d Flip album in this tutorial. It's an already made album so there is no assembly of it other than adding paper, pockets, and what I show in the tutorial. Have fun creating your album for your daughter. She will love it!

Shellie, the lace I was asking bout is the 2" white lace that you use on this tutorial. Do you have that one in your store? I love it!!!
Yes. It's 1-7/8" or 2" here is the direct link: jshobbiesandcrafts.com/?product=venise-lace-1-78-white-1-yard
I saw that one but wasn't sure if that was it or not. Thx! Have great day!!
Does anyone know the name and place I can get the lace used on page one? I checked her store n couldn’t find it.. your help is most appreciated
to place an order do we order by kit or by single suplies.
I just sell the supplies to make it. No kits.
I don't know if you're aware but if your zots are too big they can be cut in half, even quarters with the big ones.
Hi Virginia. You are correct. They can. :)
You are sweet to god bless you
Thank you
