A great example of how to write a late season character. The writers never act like he's as close to the characters who've been together for years or give him unnecesarry relevance in the plot but he's still a funny and likeahle character who fits in well with the original cast.
So true Parks and rec did the later seasons so much better than the office when Steve left. And I loved the office but let’s be real the show kinda stunk once Steve carrell left.
It was also amazing how they foreshadowed his ending from his very first appearance. I just did a binge watch these last two weekends and you can tell how well constructed his storyline was.
@@seanduffy1420well I don't eat fish but I hate white wine and love red wine lol so if I had to eat fish and I had to pick red or white wine, I will would def go with red 😂
Love that moment where he puts April in her place about all she accomplished at the Parks Department. IMO it’s comparable to Jen Barkley giving a tough love motivational speech to Leslie to inspire her after the recall vote
"Fourteen local artists have signed up to show their work. It was going to be fifteen but then this one guy described himself as Jackson Pollock escue and I told him that's finger painting for adults and I HATE IT"
I love Craig as well as everyone’s reactions to what he has to say, especially Donna’s.😂😂😂❤❤❤ Craig’s outburst about the wine orders is how I’ve felt when getting ridiculous requests at work.😅
I understand why people don’t like Craig but here are my thoughts. Craig, whether you like him or not, has one thing that a lot of the characters - he starts off being really good at his job. He cares about it and he’s talented. I think he represents a sort of person who, while maybe not likable, will always do his best and he’s actually very good at what he does and actually treat his coworkers pretty well. He yells at them, yes, but it’s not maliciously and people understand that when they work with him. This series is a satire, but there’s truth in someone being so good at their job and being so sincere in how they treat you, good or bad, that despite not liking them, you still respect them.
Having actually met a person exactly like this in real life, I can tell you, it's only fun on the screen. When you have to endure this exact person screaming the entire night, once is enough, trust me.
Can we get a Herman Lerpiss compilation? Just a ton of character development there. People forget he was the first person to announce that they were "in" when Leslie/Ron came up with the plan to save JJ's/get the National Park from Gryzzl.
My boss compared me to Craig, specifically the “I have a medical disease…it’s called CARING TOO MUCH. And it’s INCURABLE.” Idk if that’s a compliment but it’s very accurate 😂
I live in the EU and were obv backward from a tv pov......but damn between this guy and Mme Calamezzo Im seriously thinking a relocate might be on the cards!!!!
For years I've seen people say they despise Craig and he's the least liked regular character, and I just don't get it. As with pretty much every character on the show, he's an exaggeration of Eichner's public persona and is played so perfectly and hilariously every time.

Okay whoever wrote this guy in needs to get suspended. This guy has got to be the worst comedy actor I’ve ever seen. Unfunny & cringe. This was bad. His acting just diiiid noOot fit lol
Lol wut? Imagine having such a terminal case of brainworms that you see Craig and think "that's a satire on wokeness". Name a single way that Craig is more woke, or more representative of woke people, than Leslie, Ann, Ben, Chris, April, or Donna. Or even just literally anything about him that's "woke".

No. He's awful, and painfully unfunny. I skip over any part with him. Ugh.
funny? yes. likeable? no. but to each their own.

"...and she drove me here!"
the delivery 😂
The outtakes of that scene are even better, they keep making him repeat it.
You can really hear that Southern accent. Sounds like he should be asking for a mint julep and complaining about the heat.
"i have a medical condition alright, and its called caring too much.. and its INCURABLE" 😂
Also I have eczema
My favorite line!
My favorite is always “LOOK AT ME!”. Andy’s reaction and the fact that he stands there staring at him before he yells.
Craig is a prime example of how to introduce a great character in a late season of a show
"Somebody follow me, I'm distraught!" 🤣
Craig is what I’d call aggressively supportive.
I like the detail that old Craig on the futuristic airplane gets white wine with his fish.
Well what kind of monster would order red with fish? (I’m serious)
@@seanduffy1420 Someone who doesn't let snobby fakes tell them what to like. Truly, only the worst kind of person.

This! A good reality check in both cases.
I loved Craig.
So intense and passionate and psychotic.
I wish I could get away with Craig's line deliveries at my job. 😆
Same.
The “Tom’s Bi” joke still gets me everytime 😭😭😭
I love how Typhoon gently giggles at his trout comment on the plane. That's true love.
"I have a medical condition alright it's called CARING TOO MUCH ! AND IT'S INCURABLE !!!"
His best line
Yes! I totally agree!
"I know it's not ideal, but it's who I am!"
Same, buddy, same.
EVERY. SINGLE. CLIP….
Meme potential 😂😂😂
I used to temporarily lower the volume whenever I saw Craig 😂
"I'll bring it down a dozen notches if I have to!!!" LMAO
He's quite... PASSIONATE
The fact that I memorized most of these
But my favorite will always be "Excuse me! Who even are you?!"
"Fourteen local artists have signed up to show their work. It was going to be fifteen but then this one guy described himself as Jackson Pollock escue and I told him that's finger painting for adults and I HATE IT"
Just now realizing that Craig came up with the name Johnny karate huh...
It's a biggie!!
Probably the best added side character on this show. He's amazinh!!!
This man used to annoy the piss out of me but I swear to God he gets funnier every rewatch
Congratulations...I suppose...
Typhoon just chuckles at Craig's outbursts lol.
SHE DROVE ME HERE!!!
"AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES!!!"
Craig is sooo cutteee. Would love to have a friend like him. Definitely not as enemy 😂
I love Craig as well as everyone’s reactions to what he has to say, especially Donna’s.😂😂😂❤❤❤
Craig’s outburst about the wine orders is how I’ve felt when getting ridiculous requests at work.😅
His wine recommendations were spot-on though. Guy knows his stuff!
its called CARING TOO MUCH!! 😂
The part about his trigger words kill me 😂😂😂😂
6:57 one simple talk about, Europe and he’s his best man
I just love that Craig is great at his job and eventually came to lead the department
2:50 I quote this a LOT. 😂
I want to be a Spanish man named Terrance, but that didn't happen 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love Craig, he's gold.
There’s so much pumpkin it’s like a Charlie Brown Halloween special!
I could watch this over and over for 45 minutes
No an hour
A full hour
i hate it how he is so relatable
"Why are my accomplishments always overshadowed?!
..."congratulations" i suppose...."
My favorite line is excuse me who even are you? !!! 😂😂😂 I die laughing every time I rewatch this episode.
This guy is human Lemongrab
He guy maybe ruled by his emotions but man does he know how to channel them right.
craig is such a mood

ahaha donna’s medication quote… i want to ask this to so many people😂
I thought it was good that they gave us Craig in small batches. He was hysterical in that way, but if it was more common he'd get annoying.
After Ron, Craig is my favorite
“Have you not lost it?”
"Oh you don't even know!" I love Craig's screams lol
Took me a minute to like Craig, but I love him now. 😄 Some of the best lines.
Having actually met a person exactly like this in real life, I can tell you, it's only fun on the screen. When you have to endure this exact person screaming the entire night, once is enough, trust me.
The only characters on the show that wouldn't be just as insufferable in real life are Ann and Ben. Maybe Gerry.
“I sound like someone’s cousin ‘Craig,Craig’….” 😂😂😂😂😂
Craig sure is a piece of art work 😅
Donna and Craig: The duo I never knew I needed.
I totally forgot about Ron being Typhoon’s best man. That’s so funny
Can we get a Herman Lerpiss compilation? Just a ton of character development there. People forget he was the first person to announce that they were "in" when Leslie/Ron came up with the plan to save JJ's/get the National Park from Gryzzl.
pretty much sums up my entire personality..
Super under-rated.
craig is my spirit animal. i love him
Billy Eichner is one funny dude.
He's a little too much ok but professionaly, we need a Craig in every work place to get job done and people in line.
Go with me here, there is something in his mannerism and delivery that makes me think that him and Kathryn Hahn’s character are at least cousins.
Have you not lost it😅
Congratulations I suppose... 😂😂😂
This is satisfying for me as I have to deal with annoying people every day and I wanna scream but I won’t
"I want to throw up and kill myself!" is something that speaks to me on a spiritual level.
The bushdoctor prescribes 3g of any strong indica per day to Craig middlebrook.
What kind of monster orders Red with fish.
I think his character is hilarious 😂
I only wish we got Craig earlier
LOOK AT ME!
I loved Greg ❤

she like Mrs chesterfield from Jessie and by the way at 2:47 that’s how I imagine Mrs chesterfield looking like when I first saw Jessie
Am I the only one reading Craig as neurodivergent?
I am not please with the fact that you left out one of CRAIGS GREATEST LINES!!!

Johnny Karate and hs magical guitar ...stick.
Bro out of all gay characters in TV shows and movies Craig is the funniest
he's like me fr tho, but on the inside.
Also he has Excema
Kinda gives me John Mulaney vibes
I actually have like three cousins named Craig
Craig is the most laught-out-loud character in the show. And if you disagree, I WILL BURN THIS PLACE TO THE GROUND!
Big dark Peewee Herman
Sam Kinison vibes.
Excuse me, who even are you?
Was that the Guy from Bros?

Is it Craig or Creg?? It sounds like they're all saying Creg 🤔
This character almost ruined the show thank God he wasn't in it too much
Strongly agree

And I presume there’s a reason for bringing this up again 🙄
Never liked him
I am confused by the comments. This was the absolute worst character on PnR.
But, he was a genius on Difficult People.
He is seriously so annoying, I hate him!
Hands down the worst character on the show ever
Craig is just the best satire representation of woke people
Lol wut? Imagine having such a terminal case of brainworms that you see Craig and think "that's a satire on wokeness".

I think I may be the only one who HATED Craig, but I still avoid him in rewatches. Everyone else in this show was perfection.
