usually it doesn't effect starting, it's more like fuel ecomy from the engine not being at the ideal temp. trouble staring at those Temps could be a number of things, fuel pump, oil thickness. it's hard to say what exactly it could be. find a reputable small shop and have them look into ,sometimes that's the cheaper route. thanks for watchin really apreciate it.
Ok any ideas on what can cause my ride to heat up I plug up were the hvac pipe goes becuse it wont be in till a week changed thermostat upper an lower hose just didn't change water pump or radiator but were working fine before I found the hvac pipe leak an now my car is heating up still am hoping it's not cracked heads I dont get any smoke from my tail pipe so I no it might not be a cracked head I try bleeding out the air just dont no if I did it right but any ideas
With that code that's usually the first step I take because its usually the most common issue Thanks for watchin really appreciate it besure to like and subscribe for more tips and tricks and check out facebook and instagram and give it a like for more help in the future
I know this video is a bit old, but you wouldn't happen to know why after I replaced an ECT sensor for the exact same Malibu, why my temperature gauge wouldn't be working and my radiator fans would stay on? it's acting as though I have no ect sensor, but it was a brand new one for replacement and I can confirm the connection is good.
Car suddenly started overheating and the heater stopped working. No smoke from tailpipe and my oil looks good. Is the thermostat the most likely cause? Giving you a sub and a like.
I would check your coolant level when it's dead cold and see where it's at. it possable you have a small leak somewhere causing a air bubble in the heater core. but if your low on coolant and find no leaks consult with a shop and have a block test done to look for combustion gas in the coolant. thanks for watching hope this helps.
About how much coolant needs replaced after doing this? Im trying to figure out if i need a 50/50 mix or concentrate to make more
Do i need to seal the housing back on with high temp silicone gasket maker???
When you refilled the coolant i assume you just add whatever you loss back into the reservoir?
Thank you for sharing because I’ll be doing this soon enough lol.
thanks for watchin really appreciate it
I have the p0128 code but it will not start in the morning 25-32 degrees. a couple hours later starts fine multiple times throughout the day.

Thanks for sharing👍was there a gasket with that thermostat install ?
Is there a gasket needed? I’ve seen some videos with a gasket and some without a gasket
they make a pair gasket for it, but this thermostate just has a rubber o ring that seals around the thermostat its self. thanks for watchin
That code is thermostat or temp sensor do usually start with the thermostat or is that just cause you could tell by temp that it was sticking

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Classic and my computer has the same P0128 code as well. How much does a thermostat cost?
Torque spec on the bolts of thermostat
A mi carro le funciona el a/c a veces si y a veces no, ésto puede ser también una causa ?
Love your Videos keep them coming bro
