No. With perhaps a couple exceptions, most car manufacturers design their cars for the crash tests. When the crash testing changes, most cars do poorly. Go back to when small overlap front collision testing began. Volvo and I believe Mercedes Benz were the only 2 cars that passed when tested.
As a Volvo owner I just wish they can solve their computer bugs and software stuff . Ruins the ownership experience. And it happens to open multiple error messages etc

I own a b5 A4 1.8T Quattro and tbh the Volvo did heaps better than the Audi, but in my opinion the Audi didn’t do that bad for a 97 and considering it is motorway speeds. Audi b5 chassis is my favourite Audi chassis of all time! Nice video btw👍

Newer ones are quite solid - especially the B9 version (produced from 2015).
