BEST CRIMINAL BARRISTER | TOP-RATED EXPERT SPECIALIST CRIMINAL QC LAWYERS
Master strategist and tactician, Howard Godfrey QC is renowned as one of the UK's best criminal barristers.
Howard's reputation and vast experience as an advocate par excellence, spanning over 40 years, and over 20 as a QC -- is both national and international. He has defended clients charged with both serious and less serious crimes - including, appeals, murder, manslaughter, tax and company fraud, money laundering, drugs, and disciplinary tribunal cases.
Howard's standing as one of the UK's very top criminal barristers stems not simply from his knowledge of the law but from his cross-examination skills and the power of his jury advocacy. As Howard himself says "The judge rules on the law, but it is the jurors who decide my clients' fate."
As a master strategist, before getting immersed in the detail of a case, Howard stands back and takes an overview, so that the best way to attack the prosecution shines through. As a master tactician, Howard often gets his client acquitted even before the jury trial begins.
Howard sees his core role in the early stages of a case as manoeuvering his client into the best possible position before the trial even begins. A not guilty verdict can arise and often does, as a consequence of Howard's intensive focus on pre-trial disclosure of information from the prosecution. This push for disclosure can reveal for example that critical evidence has been lost or improperly obtained, or there has been misconduct by the police.

It's amazing how justice can be bought. Gets people off before even reaching trial. It must be nice to be able to afford such a great advocate. If I was rich I could afford justice. As I'm not rich I'm stuck with duty solicitor and a barrister who doesn't even read his brief. Great work

craig mk3 most of the duty solicitors where I work are the partners and are the best at what they do. 200 an hour if paying privately. You may have had a poor experience but truly it is not the case

Howard last uploaded 6 years ago. It's a shame because I really enjoy watching his videos. Is Howard just a defence barrister or does he also prosecute sometimes? If so, Howard if you're reading this, please give some tips on how to prosecute criminals.

For goodness sake women! this was in 2013!!!! doubt if he's still practising! look into your area and look for Criminal Law Solicitors.. then go on google and look for Pupillages and look for Barristers who Practise in Criminal Law and look at their profile.. see if they have done cases like the one your son has been accused of.
I am an ex Prison officer and I have seen many cases where women falsely accuse men of Rape.. it's absolutely disgusting when you see stuff like this happening, but you need a really good Barrister and Solicitor to take on your case. These days Legal Aid is near to extinction and you'd be lucky if you get it.. so think hard as to whom you hire. Wish you all the luck

"win to get the best result" - what about truth and justice for the victim and society? How do you defence lawyers sleep at night, with that attitude. Grubby and immoral.

    • @stayschemin359

***** When the Police and CPS are playing dirty from the get-go, I think it's only fair that the defence "win to get the best results".

    • @dougdeep2150
      @dougdeep2150 9 лет назад +2

Stay Schemin Wow, big call! Most criminal lawyers perjure themselves when they knowingly formulate false stories to get their clients off. It becomes grubby and immoral when innocent victims fail to receive justice. Most criminal lawyers play dirty from the get go with their 'win at all cost' approach.

    • @dougdeep2150

CHISWELL آرامش ریتم Not talking shite at all. I would love a dollar for every time a lawyer fabricates a story to seek an acquittal for his client. If you are lawyer then it is clear you have spent little time in the criminal jurisdiction or in Court for that matter.

    • @AGfrom83

The idea is that both the prosecution and defense both have the best representation available. With both parties having the same hunger for victory, theoretically the system delivers a fair trial.
Of course that isn't very often the case as the very rich get the gentlemen in the video, and the very poor get a duty solicitor who maybe doesn't have the same skills and or desire to be victorious.
