- What's up RUclips. In this video I give my opinion on having 22 inch rims on my 2017 Dodge Charger R/T. Main differences between the stock 20 inch wheels and 22 inch rims. If you have never owned 22 to inch wheels and are considering upgrading your stock rims. Hopefully this video is helpful for you in coming to a desicion.

Thanks for the video I just put 22s on my 19 charger and I love them. I've always rode 20s with all my vehicles but to be honest like you said it's not a big difference on the negative side. I'm a Florida boy too, 22s are like stock round here lol.
Did you need suspensions? I just got a pair of 22s for my 19 charger rt was tryna figure it out before I put them on

I had 22in on my 2016 RT and I dropped it no problem. I just grabbed a 2021 scat and I put 22in on the boi no problem.
Theres people saying that transmissions go bad on the hemis due to the 22s and up on rims. Whats your opinion on that?
Those are the same people that never had 22s lol. Had 22s and 24s on my past 2 chargers for 2+ years on both. No transmission problems. Everybody knows the weakest link in theses cars is the differential.
Thats what i said thats why i change the fluid on the rear diferential i never had problems on my hemi magnum with 22s and sounds.

I'm going with staggered 22s and 21s on my z51.
With these cars bein ad big as they are. The 20's they come with look small as hell on them. Even im debating on gettin some dub dueces on my future charger. They look right on them. Went with 20s instead of 22s on my Altima. It do look nice but ion like the ride height on 22s it sits way too high imo. Love the lowered/slammed stance look but that’s just me

I think all the chargers are nice. But me personally I would get a 2010-2011 and up. The better looking taillights come on those years.
My challenger came with 17s so I'm looking to upgrade. 20s or 22s would be a huge improvement for me! I'm still torn on what to do...

Right now 20’s. I have 22 inch viper replicas on my charger that I mounted since 2008. The ride isn’t so bad but the only thing I noticed is the braking and fuel mileage. The reason why I say 20’s now is because 22’s on sedans is out of style.
That's the beauty of the car community everybody has their choice and preferences. Mpg not that bad. I still avg. Around 23 mpg when I'm not riding it hard. To me 22s look great on these cars. 🤷🏽♂️

Stock wheels dont matter. Just depends on what car you have and if they fit without rubbing or having to do suspension work.

Eurospeed 2 inches bigger is not that much bigger. Your talk img about 1 whole inch bigger on the top half and bottom half. Not even really noticeable unless your right nxt to the car. 😂

I had 24s on my 2015 SE. If you just like to cruise and dont mind swerving for every pothole. 24s is kool. But I like driving fast and whipping my shit how its suppose to be driven. So I went wit 22s this time. You lose a lil performance wit 22s. Wit 4s its even more.
A guy told me for a 2016 SXT 265/35/22 , 22x9.5 with a 18mm offset for the front &’ 295/30/22, 22x11 with a 27mm offset wouldn’t work . Could you clarify this for me
Yea. Widest you can go on the back is 10.5 with no issues. Any bigger you'll need spacers and a rear camber kit so it gets aligned right.

And yea. 9.5 in front is too big too. You need 22x9 in front. 22x10.5 in back.

How are you getting a 5.0 0-60, The quickest I've been able to hit in my 2018 super track pak R/T is 5.6. But I average 5.8. Any advice ?
ItsJustA5.7 I don't know. Depends where you located? How much tire pressure you running in the rears? May sound funny but did yours come with a CAI? Mines did. I have a friend with a 2018 and his didn't. Other than that I don't see why your car would be any different than mines.
FLA HEMI I'm located in Case Grande Arizona. And I'm not sure but I believe 40 psi.. And I thought it did come with a CAI but l could be wrong. How do I know that it came with the Mopar cai? I believe all the super track paks come with it.
ItsJustA5.7 PSI could be it. I had mines at 32-34 with the stock wheels. And not all STP come wit a CAI. I have a friend with a 2018 and his didn't cone with one. And another with a 2018 scat pack and his didn't Come with one either. I guess I got lucky. Lol. Check under the hood. If you have a big blue filter. Yours came with it

How the heck do you even run 22’s on a relatively low to the ground passenger car like that? Aspect ratios in the single digit percentages that make the sidewalls look as thin as a razor blade?

BB 8 I didn't say they were trash. I had 4s on my last car. I'm just a LiL bit more into performance than I was with my V6. For that reason I feel 22s are better for a 5.7 than 24s. If I had a 392. That's a different story. Lol.
