I've never been to Turkey but made Kayseri Mantısı and the Sinop variation from scratch. It's the classic meat in dough dumpling dish and it's one of my favorites along with Azerbaijani khingal and Georgian khinkali. I think Turkish cuisine really takes it up a notch with the toppings. And trust the item that took my eye in the antique shop was the most expensive. What a beautiful work.

There are many turkic languages like kazakh, kyrgyz, tatar, azerbaijani, uyghur, gagauz, crimean and so on.. Some are pretty close to each other as in the case with Turkey turkish and Azerbaijani turkish. We all derive from one nation 3 thousand years back in Central asia and siberia

Is the yogurt cold or warm? I had this in the levantine middle east..it is called shish barak and the yogurt is warm. Same dumplings that are either boiled or fried😊. No tomato sauce. Looks yummy! Afet olsun! I feel like you should provide istanbul tours to western tourists😊
Food looked good the only thing that would put me off is the woman smoking behind me as an ex smoker I now hate the smell of cigarette smoke and have no desire to breathe it in while eating !
Love 🇹🇷 it doesn’t make sense why the Turkish lira is so undervalued. $100 US dollars got me $1,000 Turkish lira last time I visited. I prefer going 🇹🇷 over any European county!
