I know this is a year late, but I just put together a new build, and with teh latest versions of Armoury Crate and iCue (v5), I can't get iCue to recognize anything. 😓 Not sure if you've heard of the problem several people I've seen online as well, but iCue software doesn't see any devices or sensors, so all you get is a blank app screen with just "Default Profile" visible in the window. In my case, even the dashboard is blank, and the "customize dashboard" icon at the top is disabled. Based on what I've seen online, these two apps appear to be legendary for not wanting to work well with each other.
So it's kinda working meaning it changes only my motherboard lights but the ram (crucial ballistix) and all the fans (cooler master) are not changing colors, which they were with aura app
@@lonelypillow7463 I’ve still got armoury crate installed, use the most up to date versions of both. ICUE’s recently software changes have made them work together far better then even just 6 months ago.
My ICUE can detect everything, BUT it will not actually control anything. It will control my memory/GPU lights if I first switch them off from Armoury Crate, but I can't control my motherboard with ICUE as it can't be turned off from Armoury Crate.
So please is there anything to fix this issue? I have the in-game lighting effects enabled, and installed the plugins for ASUS on ICUE too, yet still no luck :|
Corsair’s plugins for ASUS and MSi motherboard plugin can be a hit or miss. It’s best not to touch the RGB controls for Armory crate otherwise RGBs will stop working correctly as they’ll conflict each other.

Si tienes instalado Asus Aura Sync eliminar con la herramienta de unistaller. 1. Instalar Asus Aura Sync y Creator y verificar que inicie sin problemas. 2. Reiniciar PC. 3. Instalar iCUE de Corsair ultima version e iniciar aplicacion (Si sigue sin aparecer la placa base seguir con los pasos). 4. Reiniciar PC. 5. Iniciar iCUE de Corsair y si no aparece aun la placa madre instalar el complemento de asus desde configuracion de iCUE Corsair. 6. Luego esperar que el complemento lo reconozca y se muestre en la aplicacion iCUE Corsair.
It works, now there is only 1 step left. How can i get Armory grate to detect.....hmmm the Vengeance pro ram by corsair...(But i think i need the corsair asus plugin tool) shall have to try this later.
Mine was working a few months ago and then just stopped. I have a ROG 3080ti and everything else iCUE (AOI, Fans, keyboard, mouse, etc.) It is really annoying that it doesn't sync anymore...
It did work one time but when I open armoury crate , even the I close the armoury crate , it doesn’t let me change light affects in icue no more but is show a the mobo in the home icue , what should I do ? My pc is mobo is a z590 e gaming WiFi

Im having difficulties for a while now with my motherboard rgb, everything was working fine until i upgraded to ICUE 5, decided to downgrade back to ICUE 4, it didnt help. I uninstalled and reinstalled armory crate and corsair . Didnt help. I made sure and turned off my other RGB software apps like logitech and it didnt help . Any advice ? Its a Z590e gaming wifi. All my corsair products are working fine tho
Commander core XT wont show up on ICUe, whats up with that? fans are working, the rgb is working. but the fans are on full speed. but no way to control them
Just some honest feedback. SOOOO much time just explaining how to download software, install, uninstall, etc.. and not much on the actual software. I've made the changes to AC and for some reason ICUE still can't control my motherboard lighting which I'm still trying to figure out.
Sadly..I need armory crate for ICUE to recognize the motherboard and gpu, but AC trys to take over the RGB and my aio cooler flashes RED and displays a false alarm of pump failure. reinstalled everything even windows and everything worked until i unplugged my desktop to move it across the desk. id settle for NO rgb but i cant even achieve that flashing red and 100% fans it is /: Its a well known issue for corsairs elite series pumps. DONT BUY CORSAIR. unless you like flashing red lights

I already have Icue installed for my ML Pro fans fans which I use on an EVGA AIO. I just purchased an Asus Strix Flare keyboard. Apparently can't do much with it without Armory Crate. So, do I have to uninstall Icue and then install Armory Crate first, and then reinstall Icue? Or does the order of things matter?
To answer your question first you have to make sure you have both armoury crate and Corsair Icue uninstalled, afterwords install armoury crate first then Corsair Icue next. Since you have the ML fans, i would do hardware lighting as you'll need Armoury crate to control your Asus strix flare keyboard, if you want, you can use 3rd party RGB software or key mapping software to have more control over your products.

Besides Icue--also EVGA Flow Control for controlling my pump but it also controls the lighting on the pump, and MSI Gaming App for my Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard.Those 3 are working fine together. Do I have to uninstall all of them, and then first install Armoury followed by the others? Is it possible to find Aura Creator anywhere as a stand alone app as used to be the case? I checked out two other rgb apps {G-Helper, and OpenRGB}, but neither supported the Strix Flare :/ I will likely have another question or 2 before this exchange is done.Thanks for helping.
This was working fine for a while until I decided to update components in armoury crate (3080 Strix and ASUS MB), now my vengeance ram is locked to static rainbow RGB. Suggestions?

Your video doesn’t show how we incorporate the aio colour into the program. I don’t see the cpu pump changing colours. Or am I mistaken? I was looking for all of them to be synced. Including the cpu cooler/aio
Hey redrobot, it won't say CPU pump directly on Asus armoury crate and will say aRGB light strip or aRGB header, you'll have to play with the setting to see which one will be according to your pump. Hopefully this helped 😁✌️
I've done all this stuff, and I still can't even get my ASUS RTX 3070 ROG STRIX to show up in iCUE. My ASUS X570-E motherboard shows up, but it won't obey iCUE lighting profiles. This time, I didn't install the iCUE Aura Sync plugin from Corsair, though, because I read somewhere that the new version doesn't need it. However, did install the plugin after all, just to see if that'd fix things, and it didn't. Originally, I followed protocol, which is to first install iCUE, then the plugin, and then Armoury Crate. None of this is working. It used to work, however, before I upgraded my GPU. I used to have an ASUS 6600 XT ROG STRIX, and everything worked fine then. As soon as I put this 3070 in... it all went to hell. I've even reinstalled Windows and everything from scratch.

@@t-casualrex204 The tool is very good to manage your rgbs in general. However it doesn’t recognise h100i so it was a false alarm. I simply use asus for my lights and have a neutral light for my aio :(

@@jondanford first, uninstall everything from the program manager then reinstall it again, first icue, then the armory crate plugin, then armory crate itself it's not armory crate's fault things have to work in a specific order

I can get iCue to controll the ASUS biard, but after a minute or two the ASUS RGB freezes. I have spent hours trying to fix this. I don't see how turning on in-game effects would fix it. I always end up shutting off the adons in the corsair software. This immediately unfreezes the ASUS RGB. I don't have any other problems. Even clean installs of everything doesn't fix it.
Every time I get it downloaded and go to launch armoury crate, it just never actually launches. It’ll act like it’s going to but fails every time. I’ve deleted iCue, armoury crate, Tried reinstalling both, no luck. At this point I’m tempted to wipe my pc and try it again, but that’s a lot of work to do just to have my RGB function the way it’s supposed to.
@@ChrisMizo will it allow me to at least sync my motherboard RGB logo with iCue? That’s all I’m trying to do, I don’t have anything hooked up to the board headers, only iCue hubs
@@ChrisMizo I finally got armoury crate to launch. Now I can’t get it to detect my motherboard so I can change the RGB effect of the logo. Until I can get it detected, iCue won’t recognize it
Hey Chris! Cool stuff. I was able to mostly get this working with my MOBO and iCue. then I decided to get the ROG Strix LC AIO cooler I did put a Corsair fan on it. I can't seem to get the AIO to sync or show up in iCue. Have you messed with these Strix LC AIOs?
I haven't quite yet, but from what I've noticed with Asus x Corsair is that ARGBs are quite finicky when they are in sync together, I believe they still have some bugs to work out together. There are some test I will try later on the newer chipsets to see if it's been corrected. Thank you for the awesome compliment!
Armoury Crate is trash. I’m so fed up with that buggy software. The uninstall tool leaves all kinds of registry junk. Re-installing Windows and Armoury Crate will be a (bad) distant memory. iCue works great. Thx for the video.
Honestly you are better off never trying to integrate Armoury Crate into Icue. I tried it 2 times step by step like Corsair tells you to and both times it didn't work at all. after the second try I even had to reinstall Windows because none of my ASUS RGB was working anymore. Armoury Crate alone is so bad it doesn't even detect my X570 E-Gaming MB. So please never ever install any ASUS RGB Software.

worked for me, 2023 windows 11, this exact procedure, had to restart after corsair ran for the first time. after that it was all good.

in the lighting setup in icue there are 2 options called RGB Header, is this for the 12v 4 pin and 5v 3 pin rgb headers on the motherboard?

iCUE detects my motherboard, but the motherboard still uses the aura effects instead of iCUE.
iCUE will recognize your motherboard, but will have compatibility issues at times with both ASUS and MSI.

Work on windows 11? i have a X299 prime deluxe II, and still not recognized the mainboard on icue or Armoury

I can't find a way to install ICUE 4... it's not downloading an executable, how does this work?
Does it download an .msi file? That's what I got. msi files can be used to install just like exe files

Only if you have Corsair only parts, you need Asus if you have any components from Asus.

More than likely it sounds like you have a corrupted Asus Armoury File, you can attempt to continue with Aura as that will work just as well.

F armoury crate...i had to uninstall...frame drop when gaming i thought it was a myth

Honestly you are better off never trying to integrate Armoury Crate into Icue. I tried it 2 times step by step like Corsair tells you to and both times it didn't work at all. after the second try I even had to reinstall Windows because none of my ASUS RGB was working anymore.
Armoury Crate alone is so bad it doesn't even detect my X570 E-Gaming MB.
So please never ever install any ASUS RGB Software.
For some reason Asus armoury crate can't detect my motherboard.
I would give it some time, it could be a bug at first to where it doesn't detect your motherboard, try a fresh restart and should load up then

I don’t care about the RGBs I just want armoury crate to recognize and show the rpm in fan expert

ICue sucks. I'd rather just have Armory Crate control everything.
Asus is a really trash brand. It is a deep regret. Both card qualities and software is trash 👎
